Andre remembers Drew Davis from the Spring Water Open Mic Sponsored by Fresca (That's Good Drinkin) from Sept 17th 2013 when he actually learned about comedy open mics.

Andre typically zeroes in on things the general public doesn't care about like anime, working in an art house theatre and plantations.  He's been on a thing called the Broken Record Show which is pretty incredible but you'd have to look it up.

When he's not doing stand up or his day jobs, he can be found playing Ace Attorney and being in a play periodically . 

Bailey Jackson, known as “BAY,” is a musician with her Bachelor’s in Music and Entertainment Business from the University of Memphis.

Bailey’s interests and accomplishments range from acting, performing, and helping with various events and projects. She strives to exemplify authenticity and creativity in everything she does. She has her song “Not a Christmas Sing Along” on all platforms, including other projects such as acting in Jackson TN’s band Music by KOTA’s “Fine Line” music video.

Cortney Warner was born in South Korea, raised in Ohio, and calls Tennessee home. She released her self-produced, debut special, Pointy Boys, in 2022 under Bedfire Label. Cortney travels all over the country performing stand up and has opened for comedians and musicians like Joe Lycett, Libbie Higgins, Kristen Toomey, Charlene Kaye, Dessa, and Hope Woodard.

Cortney runs a quarterly comedy show at Third Man Records and has satire published on points in case, humor darling, White Limozeen, Medium, and Flexx Mag. She was also a finalist in WME’s “The Big Pitch” writing contest in 2024.

Cortney has performed in clubs such as The Comedy Store, The Hollywood Improv, The Laughing Skull, Zanies, The Punchline, Crackers, The Comedy Bar, SoHo House, and Backyard Comedy. She was featured on (and won) the Roast Battle League at The Comedy Store in 2024.

Dustin Callahan is a US Marine Veteran turned Engineer, turned standup comedian based out of Nashville, TN. Dustin has a degree in Civil Engineering from Lipscomb University with minors in both Business & Math. Dustin won his first comedy competition when he attempted his 1 st open mic, last July. Since then, he has done several open mics, and multiple shows, and wants to continue to grow and make people laugh from all over the world.

Gavin Eddings was raised Mormon and was homeschooled during high school. These qualities, along with being a huge geek, Gavin quickly realized the odds of being normal were stacked against him. Instead of fighting for normality, he began doing stand-up

Jo Collins loves comedy and C-SPAN. She hosts the weekly Cobra Comedy Open Mic and produces burlesque and comedy shows under Sloppy Jo Productions.

She has performed burlesque as Hillary Clinton, JD Vance, and Richard Nixon.

Jo is a Tennessee licensed attorney, based in Nashville, living her own version of that Fast & Furious life (aka powerwalking while listening to the news on 2x speed).

Her WIP/passion project is HOT BENCH: A SUPREME COURT MUSICAL.

ohn Datoy is a Filipino engineer, world yo-yo champion, and comedian from Nashville, TN, with roots in Fargo, ND. His tricks and jokes have been seen opening for comics such as JR De Guzman , Jared Freid,  Dustin Nickerson, Aaron Weber and many others. 

Recently Datoy recorded 6 sets with Nate Bargatze’s NateLand Production, which will be available on Sirius XM this next Spring. He is a regular at Zanies - Nashville, and was a selected performer for 7 Comedy Festivals in the last 2 years. 

Datoy is also the youngest World yo-yo Champion, having accomplished that feat at the young age of 11-years old. He has performed on America’s Got Talent, where he was a top-100 performer, and continues to entertain comedy clubs, theaters, schools, elderly communities, and churches across the nation. His tricks, combined with choreographed routines, and his life story full of jokes have made for a great show for people of all ages.

Katie Hill is from Nashville, and her hobbies include crochet and overthinking things. She’s an attorney from 9-to-5, but she has recently jumped into the local comedy scene. Follow her foray into standup on Insta.

Kyle Castro is a Nashville based comedian, musician, writer, and the host of The Movie Wars Podcast. 

Malcom Franklin is a  stand up comedian/actor/writer hailing from Murfreesboro TN. Credits including opening for comedy favorites Renard Hirsch, Amber Autry Hillary Begly  and making his acting debut in the upcoming independent Drama "The Rap King". 

Malcom is a frequent performer at Blue Ridge Comedy Club Bristol TN, Wallace Theater Johnson City TN, Jersey Hustle Comedy Club Gatlinburg TN 

Matthew is a standup comic and podcaster with a sharp wit and a love for all things film. A former senior editor and film critic at NextProjection in Toronto, he penned the popular columns Cult Pics and Trash Flicks, and ran the edgy Subversive Saturdays. Now, he cohosts the Deliciously Nothing Podcast, brings his cinephile insights as a frequent contributor on Movie Wars, and keeps audiences laughing on stage—earning a nomination for Best Comedian at the Omaha Arts and Entertainment Awards.

Parker Flack is a car nut, sound technician extraordinaire, and friend of the podcast!  Parker also holds the title of first person EVER to make a comment on anything Quarter Mile Podcast related.  

Renard Hirsch has a casual, observational style of humor, with a strong emphasis on storytelling. He often incorporates religious and urban elements into his routines, and has a knack for imitating different characters. He uses self-deprecation and humor based on contrasts and expectations.

He has appeared on BET’s “A Time to Laugh”, Nateland Presents, Nephew Tommy's "Uncontrolled Comedy", Standup Nashville on the Circle Network and has released his Drybar Special "You Gotta Be Smarter Than That"

He has shared the stage with great comics such as Kevin Hart, Bruce Bruce, J.B. Smoove, Pauly Shore, Shuler King, Ms. Shirleen, John Reep, Roy Wood, Sommore, and Ricky Smiley.

Renard's film credits include The Green Mile, The Civil Brand, Drumline, Lincoln Heights, Hancock, Hannah Montana: The Movie, Dead Center and the Lifetime movie, “Love at the Christmas Table.”

Richie was the first Quarter Mile Fan to drop in for a Fast Fan Feedback bonus episode.  

Potentially one of the biggest Fast and Furious Fans on earth, Richie regularly checks Google and the headlines for Fast & Furious news and is a wealth of knowledge and fun facts.  He also has an impressive collection of Fast & Furious things!

Will Lasley is a lifelong performer and film lover. He began doing theatre in his early teens with Act Too Players, where he would eventually play the title roles in both Sweeney Todd and Shrek the Musical.

More recently, he has been performing regularly with New Star Nashville Productions, with whom he played the Beast in Disney’s Beauty & the Beast and Dr. Van Helsing in Stoker’s Dracula, and Franklin Light Opera, with whom he played the Boatswain’s Mate in H.M.S. Pinafore and the Sergeant of Police in The Pirates of Penzance.

In his standup, he was known for his sharp political commentary and numerous impressions. As he has dabbled in film, theatre, standup, prose, and other various forms of entertainment, he has developed a signature sardonic style and satirical edge that permeate every creative endeavor.

Zach Williams is based in Memphis, TN where he hosts Bell Curve comedy, a weekly open mic and co-produces the High Cotton Comedy Show. His comedy has been described as dark and subversive, but mostly it’s just puns.  He would like to thank his family and his girlfriend for supporting him in all his indulgent endeavors.
