Michael Spivey
Mike Spivey is the President and CEO of the Ozark Foundation, a nonprofit he founded in 2021 to support outdoor recreation across Northwest Arkansas. The Foundation produces and supports more than 40 annual events, from world-class competitions like the Walmart Cyclo-cross World Championship to community events such as the OZ Kids Bikes & Books Festival.
A licensed attorney with a 30-year career in both the private and public sectors, Mike previously spent 18 years with Walmart, including six as General Counsel for Walmart Africa, overseeing legal and regulatory compliance in 13 countries. Before Walmart, he served as General Counsel for Small Business at the Export-Import Bank of the United States and practiced law in Budapest, Hungary.
An avid endurance athlete, Mike has completed multiple Ironman races, marathons, and global expeditions, including summiting Kilimanjaro and hiking Machu Picchu and the Camino de Santiago.
