Metabolic Wellbeing without the BS
What does podcast success really look like?
In a world chasing viral hits and follower counts, success often hides in places less glamorous but far more meaningful—like the DM that says,
"That episode helped me rethink how I treat my body."
Since launching Metabolic Wellbeing Without the BS, we’ve:
✅ Hit 5,000+ downloads in just over a year
✅ Released weekly episodes without fail
✅ Welcomed brilliant guests who bring real stories, not filtered perfection
✅ Built a trusted space for conversations on insulin resistance, gut health, light exposure, burnout, postpartum care & more
✨ But numbers aside, here’s what really matters:
- People are listening—and changing.
- They’re reflecting, challenging norms, and asking better questions about health.
- They’re finding community in curiosity, and that’s powerful.
Special gratitude to every guest and listener who’s helped grow this ripple.
Because this isn’t just a podcast.
It’s a reminder: you don’t need more noise. You need more truth.

75 episodes. One mission. Zero BS. - Love Story of Metabolic Wellbeing
This week we reached a milestone on Metabolic Wellbeing – Without the BS: Episode 75 🎙️
And it feels only right that this moment shines a light on the brains, heart, and driving force behind the movement — my life partner, best friend, and constant inspiration, Michelle Bauge.
In a free flowing conversation, please enjoy. A little insight into who is Michelle.
I’m about as ordinary as they come. I find joy in simple things — a walk in the park, a good conversation, a podcast that makes you think, moments that keep life grounded and real. Alongside a full-time role in Sports Development (which I genuinely love), I’ve also discovered something unexpected: a deep love for writing and storytelling.
Not with a grand plan.
Not with ambition or ego.
But with honesty, heart, and a desire to connect.
What started as a few words became a way of expressing what truly matters — compassion, empathy, courage, hope, and kindness. Much of that inspiration comes from my granddaughters, whose curiosity and light are daily reminders to stay brave, keep going, and lead with purpose.
That same ethos runs through Metabolic Wellbeing – Without the BS.
We don’t shy away from sensitive conversations because real change doesn’t happen in comfort. In a world that often feels divided and overwhelmed by noise, we believe clarity, love, and truth deserve the final word.
Through books, blogs, podcasts, collaborations, and now 75 episodes of honest conversation, the greatest gift has been this:
👉 giving something meaningful — and receiving far more in return.
Life rarely goes exactly to plan.
But when you take even the smallest step forward, rooted in compassion and hope, incredible things become possible.
Here’s to 75 episodes, to Michelle, and to everyone who continues to listen, question, learn, and choose wellbeing — without the BS.
