Dear Stacy, It's Jedi again! Thank you for some much for responding to my question. It was really encouraging to hear! I have since started a writing group with my friends and joined one for fanfiction. Thank you for the advice! But I do have one question. I have heard from many other writers before and my creative writing professor to "play" with my writing. This was also something you mentioned, and sorry if this is a stupid question but, How does one "play" with thier writing? How do you let yourself play? I know how it works in fanfiction writing kinda, you write about your favorite characters in fun situations you want to see them in. But with original fiction I am not so sure. I guessing it's harder for me because I have an inner critic that kills my joy for writing with thoughts how cringe my work is or how bad my writing is cause of mistakes. And that it's not doing anything but sitting in my desktop doing nothing. Or if I really want to send it to a writing contest or a fanfiction site, that my writing will never be good enough and no one will read it. Ridge barriers to get over in my creative skull. What advice would you give to a writer trying her best to learn to play with writing? Thank you for reading if you do! - Jedi P.S I got the book from the ADHD episode and I share it with my writing group, along with this podcast. :3
