On most days you’ll find me crunching numbers and coding data models, but in my spare time I love spending time with my family, traveling, relaxing, reading, and learning new things. I’ve never been one for small talk, but I love diving into deep conversations centered around topics that I find interesting. I grew up in Tuscaloosa, Alabama and now reside in Nashville, TN. In between Alabama and Tennessee, I also lived in Brookings, SD (2013-2015) and Coventry, CT  (2015-2017). I graduated from the University of Alabama in 2013 with a double major in Mathematics and Secondary Education. I earned my M.S. in Business Analytics from Grand Canyon University.

Beginning a Podcast was not on my radar until one day when I felt a strong calling to do so with my Aunt Reata. Surprisingly to me, she had a similar desire, so here we are overcoming hurdles and own transgressions to study God’s word and discuss tangible ways to apply these teachings in our everyday lives.

I love travel, art, food, cooking and studying scripture. I am a graphic artist, designer, web developer, photographer and instructor and currently live in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. In 2014, after 25 years at The University of Alabama, I retired from full time service but currently work part-time. I received a Bachelor of Arts from The University of Alabama  and a Masters of Science in Human Environmental Sciences from The University of Alabama. I love to study scripture and dive deep into the “weird stuff”. Recently I received a Certificate of Biblical Studies from AWKNG School of Theology where I studied under Dr. Michael Heiser.

I have wanted to teach or study scripture in a simple everyday way, a tangible way, but the opportunity never presented itself until I received a call from my niece Jana. Now, we are both entering new waters and starting a new path with our podcast TangibleTalks.
