So Much More

Our purpose for creating our podcast So Much More is to speak about real-life experiences around parenting, womanhood, being a wife, working inside and outside of the home, and so much more! There are so many elements that we are working through each day as women, and top that off with hormones, diet culture, body image culture, constant comparisons of ourselves to others, perceived judgment, and so many opinions and ways of living life among all of us – that sometimes we need to just sit down and have the conversation - we are all different but the same. We all have egos, we all have insecurities, and good days and bad days. We all have struggles and times when we feel defeated and alone. So Much More is meant to talk about the real experiences, the challenges we face, and how we get through those by practicing gratitude and staying positive through it all! To keep our perceptions of others and ourselves clear enough to see the good more than the bad.

Hello, My name is Maria. I am married/have been in a relationship with my husband for 7 almost 8 years. We have two beautiful daughters, ages 8 and 2 years old. I have my bachelor's in nutrition science, and I am a certified nutrition coach. I have studied in the field of nutrition for 7 plus years now. I am a full-time stay-at-home mom, but I work on nutrition education on the side and have also recently embarked on this podcast journey to share my real-life experiences, alongside my co-host Chelsey. Chelsey is my aunt, by marriage. We have a small age gap between us of only 7 years, and have spent a lot of time diving into deep conversations about life, including keeping a positive inner voice to help us push through the challenges while maintaining appreciation and gratitude for ourselves and others! Chelsey and I want to be a voice for those who may be dealing with the same life obstacles - so that we can all feel less alone, validated, and supported!

Hi, I’m Chelsey, I am 36 years old with 3 children ages 16, 13, and 8. I’ve been married, and in April, it will have been 14 years. I’m devoted to a better life and way of living; all while simply being kinder to myself and others, living with intention, and sharing my experience. Maria is my niece and we’ve bonded while raising our girls together. Through that was an impulse to have our conversations heard and without a doubt validate and normalize some of life’s everyday challenges.
