Chris Reichhelm

Chris is the founder & CEO of Deep Tech Leaders. He has been advising and recruiting for science, technology and engineering companies for more than 25-years, focused on appointing boards and executive teams. Over the past 12-years, he was worked with more than 120 Deep Tech start-ups & scale-ups across the Industrial, Life Science and Advanced Computing domains, helping them along their Lab to Market journeys. He works extensively with leading investors and regularly advises institutions and universities on leadership within Deep Tech businesses.


Chris is also the founder & CEO of Deep Tech Jobs, an online job platform that aims to connect the world's leading scientists and engineers with the most deeply technical science and engineering jobs.


Early in his career, Chris worked for Heidrick & Struggles. He later helped establish two London-based, technology-focused executive search firms. In 2011, he founded Peloton - now Deep Tech Leaders.

Dr David Cleevely CBE FREng FIET

Dr David Cleevely CBE FREng FIET is a celebrated entrepreneur, investor, and tech innovator. He is the Chairman of Chemify, Focal Point Positioning, and the Cambridge Science Centre, and has founded or co-founded several successful companies, including Abcam and 3WayNetworks. Dr Priya Perumal

Priya Perumal is Chief Scientific Officer at C2CA, a position secured through Deep Tech Leaders. An accomplished researcher, Priya specialises in converting industrial sidestreams into sustainable construction materials to address growing infrastructure demands and reduce natural resource depletion.

With expertise in recycling mine tailings, urban mining waste, and demolished concrete, Priya develops innovative solutions for supplementary cements, granulated aggregates, and alkali-activated materials. Her recent work includes exploring CO₂ sequestration, eco-friendly materials, and circular construction methods.

Paul Mascarenas OBE

Paul Mascarenas OBE is a leader in the automotive and engineering sectors, serving on the boards of onsemi (NASDAQ: ON), United States Steel Corporation (NYSE: X), and the Shyft Group (NASDAQ: SHYF). He is also a Venture Partner at Detroit-based Fontinalis Partners, advising several startups and early-stage companies.

Previously, Paul held significant roles at Ford Motor Company, where he rose to Corporate Vice President and Chief Technical Officer, overseeing global research and engineering and founding the Palo Alto Research and Innovation Center. He chaired FISITA (UK) Ltd from 2018 to 2021 and was President from 2014 to 2016.
