EduNurture with Elizabeth
EduNurture with Elizabeth embraces the art and science of learning, exploring how to capture the heart, engage the mind, and change the brain. Leveraging cognitive science, educational psychology, best practices in education, and a life-long passion for developing the potential in every learner, she investigates the constellation of strengths and weaknesses that make each learner unique as well as how to help every individual cultivate skills for school and life success.
A former classroom teacher and principal, Elizabeth is an Educational Psychologist and dyslexia therapist. She revels in the synergy created when the science of learning illuminates practice as “heartful” attention is given to the learner’s mosaic of strengths and weaknesses. She discusses how to support learners of all profiles, including those with low motivation, early life trauma, twice-exceptionality, dyslexia, dysgraphia, dyscalculia, developmental language disorder, ADHD, weak memory function, poor processing speed, or autism.
Elizabeth partners with parents, educators, and administrators to create an optimal environment for learning while curating a collection of effective, heart-friendly, brain changing strategies to help each child reset their trajectory for learning success. Her heart for others and compassion for the challenges parents and educators face are enhanced by her extensive expertise in the art and science of learning.
