Because Canada doesn’t actually have a housing crisis — it has a cashflow crisis… and no one wants to say it out loud. But I WILL. Rate cuts only slow the bleeding. This isn’t about irresponsible spending. It’s about math turning against households. Groceries, childcare, taxes, insurance, utilities, debt payments — these costs don’t get cheaper just because rates dip.
