The Tree of Knowledge Meditation: A Journey to Your Higher Self

A cleansing breeze sweeps away worries, heaviness, and anything that no longer serves you.
Your journey continues along a path into a magical forest where your senses become heightened and intuition strengthened. At the heart of this forest stands an ancient, wise tree—your personal Tree of Knowledge. Inside this magnificent tree lies a room filled with books containing all the wisdom you've ever needed. Your higher self—that eternal, empowered, and pure aspect of you—guides you to the exact message that answers your current questions or provides solutions to challenges you're facing.
This meditation offers more than momentary peace; it creates a powerful connection to your innate wisdom that remains accessible long after the meditation ends. You'll discover that you've always held the key to this sacred space and can return whenever guidance is needed. Journey to the Magical Forest
Speaker 1Please do not listen to this meditation while driving or doing any other activity that requires your full, undivided attention. It is best listened to when you have 10 to 15 minutes of uninterrupted time. Take a few deep breaths in and exhale slowly and let your body just relax. Take your time with this. If you've been busy, stressed or on the go, your body needs time to get into this relaxing state. Relax your shoulders, your neck, your jaw. Let your eyes close gently. Relax your face. Just melt into the chair or whatever surface you are sitting in. Take another deep breath and exhale slowly. Feel your arms, relax your hands, your chest, your stomach. Just let go of that tension. Take a deep breath in your hands, your chest, your stomach. Just let go of that tension. Take a deep breath in and exhale slowly. Bring your attention to your thighs, your calves, your legs, your ankles and just let go of the tension. Imagine it just coming out the bottoms of your feet and just disappearing. Take one more deep breath in and exhale slowly.
Speaker 1See yourself standing in a beautiful field of gold or green. Look down at your feet and you notice that you're barefoot. It feels so good to connect to Mother Earth and your feet start to tingle. You close your eyes and you feel the warm sun on your face. There's a gentle breeze blowing and you stretch your arms out either side of you and feel the breeze sweep over your body. The breeze picks up a little and as it does, you know that it is cleansing you of any worries or burdens. It is clearing away any heaviness, any sickness or any sadness. You have been holding on to any sickness or any sadness. You have been holding on to allow yourself a few moments now to let the breeze fully cleanse you body, your mind, your soul, your emotions, your aura. Just let it go. You are feeling clean and refreshed, cleansed and cleared. Take a deep, cleansing breath in and in your mind's eye, see yourself. You're before a path that starts to form. Take in the details of the path. What is it made from? Is it narrow, is it wide, is it winding or is it straight? The path is leading into a forest and you start walking on the path towards this beautiful, lush green forest.
Speaker 1In a short while you arrive at the forest and you continue walking. It feels alluring and magical and you notice that all of your senses seem to sharpen as you work further into the forest. Your eyesight becomes crystal clear and sharp. You become highly attuned to the sound. In your feeling, in your knowing, your intuition is more intense than ever before. You take a moment to look around you and fully appreciate the surroundings. With your heightened senses, you feel wonderful and uplifted.
The Ancient Tree of Knowledge
Speaker 1As you continue to walk through the forest and up ahead, you notice that it starts to thin as it opens into a clearing. As you approach the clearing, you notice it is lighter and brighter and has a calm and peaceful energy. You notice a very large tree and you are magnetically drawn to it and you walk towards the tree. As you get closer, you sense and feel that this tree is ancient and wise. It has very large roots all around that are growing deep into the earth and the trunk is wide and majestic. Looking At the front of the trunk is a big, beautiful door with a very old lock on it. You arrive at the tree and you stand there in awe noticing the size, the shape, the branches, leaves and textures of this magnificent tree, and you realize that this tree is very familiar and that you have been here many times before. This tree is your tree of knowledge and it contains all the answers to all the questions you have ever wanted to know. As you stand there looking at the tree, you become aware of a key you are holding in your hand, and then you realize that you have been holding it all along. You put the key into the lock and you easily open the door and step inside.
Speaker 1Inside there is a small room that has an energy about it that feels like home, and you feel so very safe and relaxed here. The room has nothing in it but a soft, glowing light that is radiating from above. This light will be a different color each time you come here, but it is always perfect for you at the time. Notice the color of the light today and spend a moment soaking in the healing benefits of this beautiful, beautiful light. See, feel or just know that this light is working its beautiful energy on you, and allow yourself to fully accept the healing color that your intuitive self has chosen for you today.
Connecting with Your Higher Self
Speaker 1This room is also where you ask your higher self and now lead the way. Your higher self is that part of you that is wise, eternal, empowered and pure. It is the divine and sacred aspect of you. Your higher self always wants what is best for you, as she is you. They all know you, without any earthly or ego attachments. It is pure and divine. Connect with that energy and start to feel the empowerment from aligning with your true and authentic self. Take a deep breath in and slowly exhale as you feel the connection deeper. Continue to breathe slowly and naturally, breathing in and breathing out effortlessly.
Speaker 1You walk toward the back of the room and you notice a staircase leading either up or down. Whatever your higher self shows you is right. You can choose to go up or you can choose to go down. There are no wrong answers. It will lead you to the same place at the same place. There are seven steps that lead to another room and you take your first step and climb either up or down. As you slowly take each step, your excitement starts to grow as you draw closer to the room and start to remember being here before.
Speaker 1You have now reached the room and you see that it has no door because it is always open for you. You walk straight in. The room is round and well lit, from floor to ceiling, and it is filled with books, and the center of this room is an old wooden table and a big, comfortable chair. You feel a sense of peace in this room and you know you have been here many times before. The books are your own personal books of wisdom, and you have access to them now. You sit at the table and make yourself comfortable in the chair and you just sit there. You take it all in Close your eyes and think of a question you need an answer for or a solution to a problem you may have.
Speaker 1You may need confirmation about something. You may just simply want to ask what do I need? No, right now. Ask your higher self to select a book for you now, and when you open your eyes, there's a book in front of you. Notice the cover of the book. Is there a title? What color is your book? What condition is the book in?
Speaker 1Open the book and read the message that is in the book, just for you. You may not see words. You might get a sense or a feeling of what the message is. You might have a knowing of what the message is, or you may even hear your message. Pay attention to anything at all that is happening right now, big or small, as messages are often very subtle, and if you are so guided and open, you may even have a pet or a loved one in spirit that connects with you. Now it is up to you. You are in control. Sit with this for a few moments and, when you feel ready, ask your higher self to take the boat and place it back on the shelf for you. Spend a moment reflecting on your experience with your boat and, when you are ready, ask your higher self to lead you back up or down the staircase. And as you work slowly up or down, let the memory of your message fully assimilate into your being. When you reach the top or the bottom of the staircase and are back in the small room, thank your higher self for assisting you today, bask in the color of the soft light in the room one more time and, when you are ready, step out of the door and close it behind you, give thanks to your tree of knowledge and know that you are always, always empowered to have the key with you and you can visit here again anytime you want.
Speaker 1You start walking from the clearing toward the forest and you walk back along the path and you are feeling light and refreshed and you reflect again upon your message as you make your way to the edge of the forest.
Return Journey and Reflection
Speaker 1You step out of the forest and follow your pack path toward the field. You arrive at the field and once again feel the warmth of the sun and the earth beneath your feet. You take a few deep breaths and start to bring your awareness back to the room, back to the chair or surface you are sitting on. You notice the sounds around you when you wriggle your fingers and toes and, when you are ready, open your eyes, allow yourself the time that you need to fully return to the physical environment. Have a sip of water if you can, and if you have a journal or a notepad, it's a great idea to write down all you can remember from your meditative, empowering journey today. As, like dreams, are easily forgotten, it may be helpful to write it down and, as a reminder, always remember that you are never too much and you are always always enough. Thank you.
