Guided Meditation: Under the Hunter’s Moon: Recharge, Release, Renew
Use Left/Right to seek, Home/End to jump to start or end. Hold shift to jump forward or backward.
Whisper-quiet and steady as a tide, this guided meditation invites you to lay down what’s heavy and walk a moonlit path toward clarity. We begin with slow breath and a soothing body scan, easing tension from brow to feet as a silvery glow softens the jaw, melts the shoulders, and settles the heart. Then we step into a vivid autumn clearing under the full Hunter’s Moon—historically a time of preparation and gathering—and meet a small, steady fire waiting for what we’re ready to release.
With a bowl of paper and a pencil in hand, we turn intention into ritual: name what no longer aligns, feed it to the flame, and watch it transform into embers. The smoke drifts upward as we speak gentle affirmations—“I release this with love,” “I trust the cycles of life”—shifting from pressure to permission, from uncertainty to a calm confidence. The Hunter’s Moon becomes more than a symbol in the sky; it becomes a mirror for our own inner light. We receive that light through open palms and feel it fill the chest and belly, warm and electric, a reminder that readiness and wholeness live within.
As the fire fades to pulsing coals, we look at the path ahead washed in soft gold. No need to see the destination—only the next step matters. We anchor this practice with a steady mantra—“The light of the moon lives within me; calm, powerful, eternal”—and return to waking life with ease, grounded by breath and guided by quiet intuition. If you’re navigating change, craving release, or simply looking for deep rest, let this moonlit journey hold you while you renew.
If this guided meditation helped you soften, share it with a friend who needs a gentle reset, subscribe for more soul-calming practices, and leave a review with your favorite line or moment—we’d love to hear what you released.

SPEAKER_00Please do not listen to this guided meditation while doing any activity that requires your complete attention. Please listen responsibly. Welcome, dear soul. Tonight we honor the radiant energy of the full hunter's moon, the moon that once guided our ancestors through the harvest and the hunt, and this moon symbolizes preparation, release, and illumination. The time to gather what you've grown out of, to let go of what no longer serve you, and to let your spirit free beneath the glow of the moonlight. Find a comfortable position now, somewhere where you can sit or lie down without distraction. Allow your eyes to close softly and give yourself permission to simply be here in this sacred pause between breaths. Let's begin by bringing gentle awareness to your breath. Take a slow deep inhale and exhale fully. Again, breathe in deeply through your nose, hold it for a moment and release through your mouth. With each breath, imagine you are exhaling everything you no longer need. The clutter, the tension, the noise of the day. Now bring your attention to the top of your head. Imagine a soft, silvery light, much like moonlight resting there. This light begins to move slowly downward, soothing your forehead. Let go of any tightness around your brows. Allow your thoughts to drift like clouds across a beautiful twilight sky. Feel the light move gently down your face, softening your eyes, your cheeks, your jaw. Unclench your teeth and let your tongue rest easily. This is your moment to surrender. Now that moonlight glides back down your neck and your shoulders. Feel your shoulders melting away from your ears as though a weight is being lifted. The weight of expectation, of responsibility, of should-haves, could-haves, and would-haves. Just breathe it out. You do not need to carry it right now. Let the light move down your arms, your elbows, your wrists, your palms, until it reaches the tips of your fingers. Your hands are warm, open, and ready to receive new energy. The light now cascades down your chest, illuminating your heart space. Take a deep breath into your heart. Feel it expand. A steady rhythm, a reminder that you are alive, connected, and enough. Exhale slowly, letting go of any heaviness that's been lingering there. The silvery light travels through your back, dissolving every knot, every ache. It moves into your stomach, your hips, your legs. Each exhale releases you further into comfort and peace. It travels down your knees, your calves, your ankles. Finally, it reaches your feet, grounding you deeply into the earth. Take one more breath in and sigh it out. Your body is now completely relaxed, bathed in moonlight, and resting between earth and sky. The hunter's moon follows the harvest moon and rises bright and bold in the crisp autumn sky. It was named by those who lived by the land, a moon that gave light to gather and prepare for the colder months ahead. Spiritually, this moon is a time of illumination and awareness, revealing what has been hidden in the shadows. It asks us, what are you ready to release? What will you take with you into the next season of your life? The Hunter's Moon reminds us that clarity comes after labor, that there is beauty in both gathering and letting go. Let's begin. In your mind's eye, imagine yourself standing beneath this very moon. The air is cool and clean with the faint scent of fallen leaves. Above you, the hunter's moon hangs luminous and golden, casting a silver glow, dances across the landscape. You can hear the whisper of the wind through the trees, the ancient knowing kind. You begin to walk slowly across the soft path covered in leaves. Each step releases a gentle crunch beneath your feet. That's the sound of transition, of change. With every step you feel lighter. You are walking toward clarity and toward renewal. Ahead, the path opens into a clearing, surrounded by tall autumn trees, their branches stretching toward the sky, glowing under the moon's soft fire. In the center of the clearing, there is a small fire burning gently, steady and bright. It feels warm, protective, a sacred flame meant just for you. Take a deep breath and walk toward it. Beside the fire, you notice a smooth wooden bowl filled with small pieces of parchment paper and a pencil to write with. Whatever you want to release, go ahead and write it down. If there is something that no longer aligns with the person you are becoming, just let it go. Write that word or feeling on the paper, and in your mind see it clearly. And when you are ready, gently place the paper into the fire. Watch as it catches the flame and turns to soft, glowing embers. The smoke rises upward, drifting into the night sky, carried by the moonlight. You whisper softly, I release this with love. I am free. You take a slow deep breath, you whisper softly, I release what no longer serves me, and make space for what nourishes my soul. I release what no longer serves me, and make space for what nourishes my soul. When you are ready, you whisper softly, I trust the cycles of life, knowing that every ending is a sacred beginning. I trust the cycles of life, knowing that every ending is a sacred beginning. Feel that release in your body, that spaciousness where the heaviness once lived. Now look up at the full moon above you. It's luminous and alive. It's a reflection of your own inner light. As you gaze, you realize this moon isn't just above you. It's within you. The same energy that pulls the tides also moves through your spirit. Let that realization fill you with wonder and sit with that for a moment. You lift your palms upward and the moonlight pours down through your fingers, warm, electric, pure. It fills your chest, your belly, your entire being. You feel renewed, recharged, and oh so alive. The moonlight swirls around you like a gentle wind, wrapping you in strength, courage, and calm. And it whispers, you are ready. You are seen. You are whole. As you stand there, think about where you are in your journey right now. Are you at a crossroads? Is there something calling you to change? The hunter's moon reminds you that you have always, always known the way. You simply needed to hear quiet to be able to hear it. Take a deep breath in and imagine the moon shining a path before you, with soft golden light leading you gently forward. You don't have to know where it ends. You only have to take the next step. Trust that the universe, the earth, and your own divine intuition are guiding you together always. The fire begins to fade, leaving only glowing coals that pulse gently like a heartbeat. You take one last look at the moon. You feel grateful, peaceful, and grounded. You know that you can return here any time. This moonlight flaring will always welcome you back. Energy always remembers. Slowly begin to bring your awareness back to your breath. Inhale and exhale. Feel your body again, your hands, your feet, your chest rising and falling. Whisper softly. The light of the moon lives within me. Calm, powerful, eternal. Again affirm. The light of the moon lives within me. Calm, powerful, eternal. When you're ready, gently open your eyes and carry this light, this renewal with you as you move through the days ahead. The hunter's moon will continue to shine, not just above you, but within you. It's guiding you to release, to renew, and to remember who you are. I thank you for joining me on this guided meditation. And remember, kindred spirits, you are never too much. And you are always, always enough. Namaste.
