Healing Our Kindred Spirits
A Gentle Guided Meditation and Sacred Ritual for Emotional Release and New Beginnings
Use Left/Right to seek, Home/End to jump to start or end. Hold shift to jump forward or backward.
This immersive guided meditation takes you on a journey back to a time when the moon was honored as a source of guidance, healing, and transformation. Under the glow of the Pink Moon, you’ll be gently guided through a ritual of release and renewal—letting go of what no longer serves you and welcoming in new energy with compassion. A beautiful meditation for embracing change and reconnecting with your inner self. Please be sure to check out the accompanying journal prompts attached below.
Journal Prompts for the April Pink Moon
- What part of my life feels like it’s slowly beginning again, even if I can’t fully see it yet?
(Let yourself explore the smallest signs of growth.) - What am I ready to gently release, without pressure or force?
(This could be a thought, a habit, an expectation, or even self-judgment.) - Where in my life do I need to offer myself more patience and compassion right now?
(Speak to yourself the way you would someone you deeply care about.) - What does “growth” look like for me in this season of my life—not what it used to look like, but now?
(Honor that your path may have changed… and that’s okay.) - If I trusted that something beautiful is unfolding within me, how would I begin to show up differently?
(Even one small shift is meaningful.)
✨ Gentle Affirmations for the Pink Moon
- I am allowed to grow slowly and in my own time.
- I release what I have outgrown with softness and compassion.
- Even in stillness, something within me is awakening.
- I trust the quiet unfolding of my life.
- I am becoming, gently and beautifully, who I am meant to be.

Journal Prompts And Closing Thanks
SPEAKER_00Welcome Kindred Spirits. This is an original guided meditation from Donna Godet and Healing Our Kindred Spirits podcast. I invite you to find a comfortable position somewhere you can fully relax and feel supported. This is your time. Nothing is required of you. Nothing needs to be fixed. Tonight we're going to gently connect with the energy of the April full pink moon, a moon of renewal, soft beginnings, and quiet transformation. This meditation is a journey back to a time when the moon was honored, trusted, and deeply felt. If at any point you need to pause or just or simply rest, please do so. Please do not listen to this guided meditation while doing anything that requires your immediate attention. Just allow yourself to receive whatever this experience brings. And when you're ready, gently close your eyes. Begin by taking a slow, gentle breath in through your nose and exhale it softly through your mouth. Again breathing in and letting go. With each breath, allow your body to soften and bring your awareness to the top of your head, and imagine a gentle wave of relaxation moving down, softening your forehead, your eyes, your jaw. Let your shoulders drop, releasing any weight you've been carrying. Allow that wave to move down your arms through your hands all the way to your fingertips. Now into your chest, your heart space. Let your breath move naturally here. No effort, just presence. Soften your belly, your hips, your legs, all the way down to your feet. You are supported. You are safe. You are here. Now imagine yourself standing at the edge of a quiet path. The ear is soft and cool, carrying the scent of an early spring. You can feel the earth beneath your feet steady, rounding as if it recognizes you. Above you, the sky is deep and velvety, and rising slowly before you is the full pink moon. Large, luminous, glowing with a soft silvery light. There is something ancient about it, something familiar, as if it's been waiting just for you. You begin to walk the path slowly, gently, and as you move forward, you notice small lanterns lining the way, each one flickering softly, guiding you, welcoming you. In the distance, you see an open clearing. And as you step into it, you realize you are not alone. This is a sacred gathering place. A long, long time ago, a place where people came together to honor the moon, to release what was heavy, and to welcome new beginnings. There is a quiet revenence here, a deep sense of peace. In the center of the clearing, there is a small stone altar. It is surrounded by soft pink blossoms glowing gently under the moonlight. You are invited to step forward. Take a moment and place your hands over your heart. Feel your breath. Feel your presence here. And now gently ask yourself, what am I ready to release? There is no need to force an answer. Just allow whatever comes to come. It may be a feeling, a memory, a belief, or simply a heaviness you've been carrying. Now imagine holding this gently in your hands. You step toward the altar, and in the center there's a small bowl of light. Soft, glowing, almost like liquid moonlight. With care, you place what you're ready to release into the bowl. And as you do, watch as it begins to dissolve. It softens and transforms into light. Nothing is rejected here, only transformed. Take a breath and feel the space that has opened within you. Now as you stand there, you notice something new. From the center of the altar, a soft pink glow begins to rise like the first bloom of spring. This light carries the energy of renewal, of gentle becoming. It begins to move toward you, surrounding you gently, and then softly it settles into your heart space. You may begin to feel warmth or calm, or simply a quiet sense of presence. Allow this energy to fill you and silently or softly within yourself, repeat. I am allowed to begin again gently. I release what I have outgrown with compassion. I trust what is unfolding within me. Even now, something beautiful is growing. I am safe to become who I am meant to be. Now lift your gaze and look up at the pink moon above you. Feel its light not just around you, but within you. You are not separate from it. You are part of this rhythm, this cycle, this quiet, sacred unfolding. Just like the earth, you are allowed to rest, to release, and to bloom in your own time. Stay here for a few moments, simply breathing or simply being. Gently wiggle your fingers, your toes, take a deeper breath in and slowly exhale. And when it feels right, softly open your eyes. As you move forward from this moment, may you carry the gentle light of this moon within you. May you release what feels heavy without judgment, and may you trust that even in the quietest moments, something within you is awakening, growing, and becoming something beautiful. You are held, you are supported, and you are never alone on this journey. I invite you to look at the journal prompts in the episode description, so that way there you may journal about what you may have felt during this guided meditation. Thank you.
