Ep.35 - Navigating Perimenopause Naturally: Ayurvedic Insights with Britt Vanderhoof

Seth & Stephanie Mulder

Britt Vanderhoof is a registered nurse and a Clinical Ayurveda Specialist, blending the wisdom of modern medicine with Ayurveda—a holistic medical system from India that has been practiced for over 5,000 years. She is passionate about bringing natural, evidence-based solutions to women navigating perimenopause and menopause, helping them cultivate resilience, balance, and well-being through Ayurvedic principles, nutrition, and lifestyle changes.

Britt’s journey into holistic health began during nursing school when chronic stress, sleep deprivation, and medication side effects led her to question conventional approaches to well-being. Over time, she discovered the profound benefits of meditation, massage, and Ayurvedic self-care. Her commitment to integrative health deepened after being diagnosed with celiac disease over a decade ago, which forced her to radically change her diet and approach to healing. Later, a chronic Lyme disease diagnosis further pushed her to explore holistic, root-cause healing approaches to support her immune system and overall health. After starting the perimenopause journey, yet another level of health and wellbeing unfolded. Through her own struggles, she has learned firsthand how interconnected the body, mind, and spirit are—and she now shares this wisdom with women looking to reclaim their vitality.

Britt is the founder of The Midlife Chrysalis, an online community supporting women through the transitions of midlife with evidence based holistic practices. She also runs workshops and group programs, empowering women with tools for self-care, stress resilience, and personal transformation.
