Rachael Miller

Rachael’s official title at Ruby B. Archie Public Library is Library Services Specialist; however, her character name would be Bailey S. Mouse of Thebes, inspired by Bailey Graffman from “The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants” and her optimism in the face of tragedy, Ralph S. Mouse from “The Mouse and the Motorcycle” and his bravery despite the adversity of being a mouse, and Tiresias, Blind Seer of Thebes from Greek mythology and the wisdom gained through the trials of a strange life lived to the fullest. If they could exist in any literary universe, it would be River Heights, sleuthing beside Nancy Drew and her cousins Bess and George.

Rachel Timm

Rachel's official title at Ruby B. Archie Public Library is Adult Services Coordinator; however, her character name would be Cerridwen Rose because she is inspired by the fierce inner strength of Cerridwen, Celtic goddess of knowledge, inspiration, and rebirth and also by the sweet-natured, down-to-earth personality of Rose "Rosie" Cotton Gamgee from The Lord of the Rings. If Rachel could exist in any literary universe, she would live in a cozy, garden ensconced hobbit hole in The Shire, Middle Earth.

Russell Carter

Russell's official title at Ruby B. Archie Public Library is Library Director; however, his character name would be Buck Arthur the Just because he is inspired by the adventurous spirit of Buck from Call of the Wild, the leadership abilities of King Arthur and the redemption arc of Edmund in Chronicles of Narnia. If he could exist in any literary universe, he would travel further up and further in to Narnia.
