Today we've reached a special milestone, and that is the final episode in our balanced motherhood series and the season finale of season four of the Viva LA Podcast. Over the past seven episodes, we've been On a journey together, exploring the key elements that help us create a mahood experience that feels authentic, intentional, and of course balanced. From reclaiming our time to breaking harmful cycles, we've covered so much ground and I've been overwhelmed by your messages sharing how these conversations have resonated with you. Bueno. Today I want to bring everything together and help you see how all of these pieces create a cohesive approach to mahood that honors both your heritage and your vision for your family's future. I. Plus, I have some exciting announcements to share about how you can continue this journey with me and what's coming up next for the podcast. But before we dive in, I want to invite you to join me for a special open house event On Monday, April 28th at 7:00 PM Central Time via Zoom. This is your chance to connect directly with me, ask any questions you have about balanced motherhood and meet other mamas who are on the same journey as you. I'll share more details about how to register at the end of the episode, but mark your calendars now. It's going to be amazing Muhi, let's dive into today's season finale, and celebrate how far we've come. All right, so let's take a moment to reflect on the journey we've been together through this balanced motherhood series. Each episode has focused on a key element of creating a motherhood experience that feels aligned with who you truly are. We first started with reclaiming our time, acknowledging that as Latina moms, we often put everyone else's needs before our own. We talked about identifying our time vampires, setting boundaries around our schedules, and being intentional about how we spend our precious hours. Then we explored self-care and challenging the notion that taking care of ourselves is somehow selfish. So we discuss how self-care isn't just bubble baths and manicures, but a fundamental practice of honoring our needs so we can show up fully for the people we love. Then we talked about rediscovering our passions beyond motherhood, and that is reconnecting with the interests. Dreams and activities that light us up as individuals. So many of you messaged me after that episode, sharing how you'd started painting again or signed up for a yoga class, or simply carved out time to read a book that you've been wanting to enjoy. We then explored setting boundaries with our familia, which might have been one of our most impactful discussions. We acknowledged how challenging it can be in our cultura to say no to family expectations while still honoring those precious relationships. We also discussed breaking harmful cycles and how to honor our heritage while consciously choosing not to carry forward patterns that causes harm, that cause harm. That episode touched so many of you who are working to parent differently than the way that you were parented without losing your cultural connection as well. And most recently we talked about aligning your values with your parenting approach, and that is getting clear on what truly matters to you, and creating a parenting style that reflects those authentic values rather than inherited expectations. So what ties all these conversations together is a simple but powerful truth that you deserve, a motherhood experience that feels authentic to you, not what your mama expects, not what social media says you should be doing, not what your URA dictates, but a motherhood journey that honors your unique blend of heritage values. Circumstances and dreams. And so as I reflect on all the messages I've received from you throughout the series and on Instagram, after posting about these podcast episodes, I notice a common thread. So many of us are navigating really hard questions of identity as Latina moms we're asking ourselves. How do I honor the beautiful aspects of how I was raised while breaking free from the harmful patterns? How do I create my own motherhood journey when I don't see many examples that look. Like what I'm trying to build. How do I balance cultural expectations with my own needs and values? And so if you're asking these questions too, I want you to know that this tension you're feeling isn't a sign that you're doing something wrong. In fact, it's actually evidence that you're doing the incredibly important work of creating a new legacy for your familia. You're standing at a powerful intersection, and that is between generations, between cultures, between the way things have always been done and the way you envision they could be. This position gives you a unique perspective and the opportunity to be intentional about what you carry forward and what you leave behind. And so this is exactly why I created balanced motherhood because I saw so many of us struggling with these same. Questions often in isolation. I wanted to create a space where we could navigate these complex identity questions together with guidance, support, and. And so let me share what I've seen happen for mamas who embrace the balanced motherhood approach we've been discussing throughout the series. They move from feeling overwhelmed By these certain expectations to feeling confident in their own intentional choices. They shift from parenting on autopilot, repeating patterns they experience growing up to parenting with purpose based on their authentic values. They transform from feeling torn between cultural traditions and modern approaches to creating a beautiful integration that honors both. This transformation doesn't happen overnight. And it's not a journey. You have to walk alone because isolation is. Shouldn't even be part of the equation here. I've seen these transformations, not just in my own life, but in the lives of so many mamas I've had the privilege of working with through balance, motherhood, women just like you, who were tired of feeling caught between worlds and ready to create your own path. So if you're feeling the weight of like trying to be the perfect Latina mom while also trying to break cycles and create something new for your familia, I want you to know that there is another way you can create a motherhood experience that feels balanced, authentic, and joyful. And I would be honored to show you how. And so today is an especially exciting day because the doors to my signature program balanced motherhood are officially open. Balanced motherhood is a three month coaching program, specifically designed for Latina moms who want to create a motherhood experience that honors both their heritage and their authentic selves.
