Gilligan, I'm going to Florida. I'm going to Florida here in a few hours.

Speaker 1:

It looks good, but I'm not used to you being next to me. It's going to be a super weird dynamic. It is weird and our permanent guest, rob Bobby, aka Bobby, aka Bobby, and we're here every Thursday for all things business, bentonville and bourbon, and today we have a super cool high-end bougie space in town. Whoa, you all right? Yep, I'm good. I.

Speaker 3:

I'm still in chip Harvey's so excited, he's excited.

Speaker 1:

Woodhouse Spa.

Speaker 3:

Woodhouse Spa, woodhouse Rogers.

Speaker 1:

Woodhouse Rogers, and it's Chip Brooke and Alyssa, and I'm excited to get into this. But before we do that, we have to drink a little bit of bourbon. We have to get into the bourbon stuff first, and it looks like we have a little champagne here as well. Too Well, champagne is going experience.

Speaker 4:

Okay, part of the service and now, now you have my attention I can honestly say I've never had bourbon with a champagne backer, ever. Yeah, why not everything?

Speaker 1:

let's match so my old oscar. So this is the bartstown silver oak. And what's the makeup of this thing?

Speaker 2:

and yeah, you guys can pass it down. So it For over 50 years they've created an exquisite California Cabernet. So it's aged in barrels for 17 months. All right, are you going to pour for our guests first today? Yeah, you learned from last time. Did you give them any?

Speaker 1:

glasses, Chips glasses Just chips.

Speaker 2:

Okay, I'll do mine and chips, and then you guys can figure yours out R for the course, r for the course, r for the course. Now I'll do yours here, hand them down. That's so nice of you. Just because I'm that kind of a guy and I'm ready to go on vacation Must be the new hat.

Speaker 1:

Yeah Is that a new hat, by the way.

Speaker 2:

No, it's my Florida hat. I told you we're doing spa today like relaxation. All right, okay, cheers, cheers.

Speaker 3:

Cheers.

Speaker 2:

Thanks for coming in. Yeah, you smell the wine Really? Yeah, I do. I wonder if it's silver oak barrels, is it? Yeah, it is. Yeah, that's tasty.

Speaker 3:

It's the name you didn't read about that part in there

Speaker 1:

so you're probably like skipped over silver. Oak bottles shout out to silver.

Speaker 2:

That's good that's really good wow crazy.

Speaker 1:

It was better than the other parts that's really really good.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, that's good. What do you think chip? Yeah, I like it solid and it's what I learned is it's not a dickle 17.

Speaker 1:

No, no, when I bring the bottles in, like I kind of keep them away from Matt because like it'll be like nine pours, but you could have some more Absolutely.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, that's good All right.

Speaker 1:

So Woodhouse Spa, all right Spas, massage in town. What you guys have opened is State of the art. You guys have a divested building. It's impressive, it's magnificent. Where is it?

Speaker 3:

It's at 5400 West Northgate so we're across from the new Ruth Chris that's going in North side of Pinnacle Country Club, just off the roundabout when Tropical Smoothie and Domino's is right now.

Speaker 2:

Okay, it's in the heart of everything. That's new. Yeah, that's exploding out there.

Speaker 1:

And there's Ashley's open next door. I think that whole spot is just blowing up.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, Ashley's is an awesome brand new wine and sake bar.

Speaker 2:

We should go there tonight. Shout out After chicken.

Speaker 3:

So they're doing a great job. We're excited to be neighbors with them and there's exciting new shopping and restaurants coming every day okay, yeah, and you guys have been open now for two more two months first of December.

Speaker 4:

Okay, so exciting, I'm gonna be open sooner. I mean, part of the problem with North West Arkansas was finding the right location. Locations, key, did you guys? How many square feet 8,000 whoa it's.

Speaker 1:

I mean you drive past it and it's like it sticks out, it's like this huge mansion looking high end. I mean it's really. It's impressive. It's really impressive, yeah yeah. You can't find 8,000 square feet just anywhere right, yeah, so we had to build it.

Speaker 4:

So then we built the window from the ground up, so it's here.

Speaker 2:

We're super excited now you really have my attention.

Speaker 1:

Yes, yes, and so you guys brought champagne, so it's part of the experience.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, you were saying there's. There is a ton of places around here to get you know, massage treatments or facials. But what was important to us when we decided to bring Woodhouse to town was to really focus on what Northwest Arkansas didn't have. And so what you couldn't find was hey, I want to go with my friends or I want to go as a couple and spend the day, drink champagne. Put on a nice snuggly robe. We brought one for you guys. So if everyone wants to put it on, it's to be bobby?

Speaker 2:

yeah, is it bobby size? That's the question.

Speaker 3:

Might be more joshy size, but we do have some for you when you come in, but yeah and and sit by the fire we have a fireplace and just enjoy your time. Take a minute out of our all of our busy lives and then get a nice spa treatment Fireplace. Be on your way, there's a fireplace.

Speaker 4:

Inside. In so nice, we'll have an outside patio as well. Yeah, coming in the spring, we didn't feel like it was fitting in December and January. But spring.

Speaker 1:

Tell us more. It's like a.

Speaker 2:

I was thinking like we already have reservations at River Grill. Shout out to River. Grill Shout out to Brenda On Thursday night and maybe we just roll right into Friday here.

Speaker 3:

Well, we have some amazing deals. I would not be doing my job as a business owner if I didn't tell you about our Valentine's Day special we're running. So we partnered with local chocolatier.

Speaker 2:

That's yours, Josh.

Speaker 3:

Markham and Fitz.

Speaker 2:

Oh yeah.

Speaker 3:

Nice, nice, yep. So another awesome Northwest Arkansas business, good for you and we're doing a free six-piece chocolate set with a $250 gift card.

Speaker 1:

You had Matt at free One more time.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, free six-piece chocolate set. I have a good story once we get to that. And then we have a larger box offering for the $500 gift card. Sorry, so, yeah, so too awesome if you come in In-store. Only You've got to come and buy your Woodhouse gift card in-store. We'll wrap it up for you and we'll include the box of chocolates. You're well on your way to a perfect Valentine's.

Speaker 1:

Day Feels like I'm done with my shopping now. I don't have to worry about it for Valentine's Day.

Speaker 2:

Thank you to apologize. Thank you very much, take the pot I'm loving it.

Speaker 5:

Thank you, amazing. Well, and I think it's, I think, for most cheers, cheers what's fun about so many?

Speaker 2:

somewhere like woodhouse is it's like you guys said, it's like a an experience. So we were on vacation one time and terry and I we got this couple's massage and uh, like after the massage I massage. I went in there and I was like there's like this really nice shower and then there was a steam room. So I was like I went in the shower and I went in the steam room like just relaxing. An hour later I came out and Carrie's in the waiting room and she's like where have you been?

Speaker 2:

And I was like well, I thought you were supposed to join the amenities I was like.

Speaker 5:

well, I thought you were supposed to join the amenities.

Speaker 2:

But it's nice when you have, when it's not just a okay, I got to go in, I have an hour and then just put your clothes on and leave, like it's nice when it's a whole experience. So tell us more about the services and the couples massage. I mean, there really isn't nothing like that here in northwest.

Speaker 4:

Arkansas. We wanted to find a hole that you know, that we could feel, and we looked everywhere and we could see, you know, through friends and family and people asking for this service, especially with all the people coming to town that have experienced that where they came from. Now there's nothing here, so we really wanted to have that full experience. So once you get into some of the services, yeah, there's some unique we do have some unique offerings.

Speaker 3:

So, um, you know, it's some of the amenities you can enjoy when you come in. In addition to massage and facials, we do have a salt, a himalayan salt room, so you can come lay on our zero gravity chairs. We provide their goggles, which are actual goggles, imagine, like vr goggles, but these are for therapeutic purposes. They heat up, they actually massage your temples and your eye sockets while you sit there. The room we have piped in himalayan salt that's diffused into the air so, um, you're actually breathing that in while you lay there the entire wall is the salt wall.

Speaker 4:

Yeah, the wall so it's.

Speaker 3:

That's very healing, especially, especially with the crud going around. It's great for your lungs to inhale all the salt, as well as allergies, any respiratory issues. And then we also have your typical hot sauna so you can go in and sweat out some toxins you like to do that. Lower your inflammation. So yeah, we have a sauna.

Speaker 2:

Is it hot or uh? Yeah, it's dry.

Speaker 3:

It's dry, yeah, and then um, let's see we've got um unique to our building. We elected not to do nails. A lot of these high-end spas have nails. We feel like a lot of the businesses in the area do a fantastic job doing nails in northwest arkansas. I know you're sad you're not going to get your manicure no, no, we go to jen's place, yeah I just had my nails done.

Speaker 2:

He wouldn't have let you on the show if he would have known he did.

Speaker 3:

So no nails go to the jen's place that's true, seven course, oh yeah but yeah, so we opted to do a party room. So what's awesome is you can bring a group of friends. We can seat up to eight in the party room. We'll provide you with the drinks of your choice Can you do couples Like guy-girl there?

Speaker 1:

Yeah, you can do guy-girl there.

Speaker 3:

No no.

Speaker 1:

I didn't know if it was like because of the dress Like.

Speaker 3:

I didn't know if, like, because of Our quiet room's the same. Sorry, I didn't know if you could do like. Well, some of them have. You can walk out there naked if you want to. We do have separate locker rooms, but joint relaxation lounges. Alright, some cool services you won't find anywhere else. You were asking about the hot oil earlier. Someone was that drips on your head. Hot oil, that drips on your head whoa.

Speaker 1:

Back up a second. Somebody I know that works there and she was telling me about I go. How cool is this place. She goes, oh my God. First of all she raved about you guys. Shout out to Diana, shout out to Diana Raved about you guys. She was like oh my God, they're amazing, amazing, amazing. And I go what do they do? That's so unique? She's telling me. I'm like wait what?

Speaker 3:

so it's called shiradara. So you come in the treatment room. Uh, it's in our meditative.

Speaker 3:

So sold sign me we'll get back to that. You can take a bath at the spa if you want, but it's in that treatment room. Um, you lay face up on the table, we position a funnel, a copper funnel, it's just beautiful. Uh, full of hot oil, not too hot. We open the, the spigot of the funnel, and on your third eye, at a consistent drip, comes this oil, while you're getting a shoulder, neck and head scalp massage, and so, as the oil comes down, you're positioned so it feels like fingers are going through your hair the whole time. It's in. It's incredible, do I?

Speaker 3:

put eye goggles on no, you could, I mean for you that's the only thing that came to my mind if you want to know. But no, we usually. The oil doesn't drip down, it drips right because it drips backwards I don't have to go in there and adjust the drip I have to train to do it on Bobby.

Speaker 5:

I want to do this. Sorry I missed it that's unique.

Speaker 3:

No, you don't see that too much. Our couples massage room also in northwest Arkansas. It's hard to find. I think we might be the only one left, or one of the two that have a couples massage room, and so that's been really, really popular to come in.

Speaker 2:

How many couples can you do at a time?

Speaker 3:

We have one couples massage room right now.

Speaker 1:

This is not Shadow Valley. This is not a swing.

Speaker 3:

This is not like hey, what's going on?

Speaker 1:

Shout out to Shadow Valley.

Speaker 2:

I do not live in Shadow Valley.

Speaker 1:

I do. I'm just curious. I live in Chattanooga, I do I?

Speaker 5:

live in Chattanooga.

Speaker 3:

I was just curious, like if a group of us wanted to come in, but you kind of rotate through that thing. Yeah, that's what the party room is for these guys.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, Clearly they haven't been laid in a few weeks.

Speaker 3:

But yeah, that's what the party room is for, so one couple can go in while the others enjoy charcuterie and champagne, and then you smoke charcuterie charcuterie I mean, they'll give you snacks while you're there too amazing scooby snacks.

Speaker 1:

I love it's amazing. Yeah, okay, so what's the most popular treatment so far?

Speaker 3:

well, listen. What do you think most popular treatment is from facials?

Speaker 5:

I would say facial and it does what?

Speaker 3:

oh it does. It makes you look slowly andowy and stimulates your blood flow and circulation.

Speaker 2:

So it helps you look more young, young, young.

Speaker 5:

Yeah, you could go there, it's fine.

Speaker 2:

God knows, all three of us need that. She's like what do I say?

Speaker 3:

I'd say our Himalayan stone massage is really popular for our regular massage treatment and they all come in 50, 80, or 110 minute increments.

Speaker 1:

Which is normally it's like 60, 90, and 120.

Speaker 3:

We're a little offset there. We want you to have full time to enjoy the amenities of the spa. We ask that you come, probably 30 minutes early. I would say If you're not 30 minutes early, you're late.

Speaker 1:

Don't show up right on time for your but I bet you do 50, 80 and 110 to ensure that you're not running late for the next appointment. Oh correct, yeah, which is you turn the room? Yeah, that's awesome. Yeah, is our time is money? We talk about it at the barbershop all the time. If I'm running 15 minutes late for air cut, you're probably missing a meeting somewhere. So that's great that you got a thought of that yeah, yeah I mean it's a franchise it is okay.

Speaker 1:

So how did you guys so you have an idea that you want to do this and then figure out what to do it myself, or do I franchise? How was that whole process so a lot?

Speaker 4:

of it. We travel a lot, um, and we enjoy going to a spot you know, whenever we're traveling and just, I mean, it really started with us there's nowhere to go, unless you're going to go, you know, to the embassy suites to get a good massage around here. So we started thinking about it and then friends and family started asking for it, neighbors and the google machine, I mean I I wished I could tell you a better story, but brooke literally started googling spa franchise we've been looking at franchises for a while, like when I had trip, our son, I spent my maternity break trying to figure out how we could open a franchise Shout out US Pizza.

Speaker 3:

I contacted them twice a year for I don't know five years.

Speaker 4:

You got a tagline Pizza's my passion.

Speaker 3:

I did Pizza's my passion.

Speaker 4:

I'm a pizza fan. Bobby had a pizza food truck.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, sorry, I didn't mean to bring that up.

Speaker 2:

And now I'm back to the hobby side of it and I'm making pizza in the backyard. I wish you still had the food truck. Our waste doesn't. I could call Benny and I could be like hey, shout out to Benny Yuck.

Speaker 3:

They didn't respond and so we decided to kind of go a different route. And yeah, we just Googled luxury day spa franchise and fell in love with the concept and they're in texas right based out of texas originally and you ended up with 8 000, like the 8 000 square feet I gotta.

Speaker 1:

I'm sorry you'll see this thing, it's like it's, it's I gotta come back like what's in 8 000 square feet of spa space well, there's the 15 treatment rooms 15 treatment rooms.

Speaker 3:

yeah, the one room we didn't talk about was our meditative soak room. Okay, so we're all about mood care. At Woodhouse, we brought you some neck rolls. You guys can put these on.

Speaker 2:

That's good with these two.

Speaker 4:

They're a little chilly now, but Remember we talked about the journey, so when you come in, oh yes, Bring us through the journey.

Speaker 4:

Yeah, through the journey, yeah, so in your, we get these here. Yeah, so, as soon, as soon as you open the door, and even before that, we want your whole check-in experience. You know this from the gents place. We want your experience to be as smooth and seamless as possible. That way, whenever you open the door, you're already, you know, relaxing right. So you're greeted by one of our they smell good concierge and they would be warm if you came to the shop. Um, and then you're brought back. You're greeted by one of our concierge and they wouldn't be warm if you came to the shop. And then you're brought back. You're checked in very quickly and immediately taken back, and I'll let you tell them we've got a really cool.

Speaker 3:

We greet you with an Oshabori experience. So if you haven't heard of Oshabori, no, oshabori is a. Japanese welcoming ritual. So you will be greeted with a very calming sound to greet your mind into our transformative space.

Speaker 4:

And we provide you with a hot towelette that's been infused with essential oils, where you can cleanse your hands and your face as you embark on the journey into the spa. They're not edible. When they put it in your hand it looks like a mint dose. It does.

Speaker 2:

But then they warm it up. I spent five years in your hand. It looks like a mint dose it does, but then they warm up. I spent five years in Hawaii.

Speaker 3:

So I know I'm with you, they're with you. It's on the towel that grows Kind of like the dinosaurs you would get it and you pour water on it. This is really cool Good smelling towel. So that's part of the welcoming journey. We'll give each guest a tour, as they come in, of the various amenities. We talked about salt sauna, party room, the meditative soak room, so we're about mood care. You can take a bath in oils or whatever herbs you want to help establish the mood you want while you're there and when you leave.

Speaker 3:

We don't have bourbon on the menu yet but we do have a variety of wines, champagne, full mimosa bar. We serve Onyx coffee. Shout out Onyx.

Speaker 1:

Shout out. Onyx, shout out, shout out. It's all complimentary.

Speaker 3:

All complimentary. It's part of the service.

Speaker 4:

So then you're taken back to the locker room the men's or the women's where your locker is already set. We already know your shoe size, your robe size. It's already in your locker with a chocolate and a handwritten note. So then you change into your robe and then you're directed back to the quiet room where you can relax and chill by the fireplace until your therapist iraq to grab you.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, you're served and so all those other square feet are treatment rooms.

Speaker 2:

We've got 15 of them, so does that sound amazing so really, it's to your advantage to not be late and show up 45 minutes you missed out.

Speaker 1:

That's the problem with both of you guys. You guys run late all the time. No, but like, if you show up late, it's on you, it's on you.

Speaker 2:

Because you don't get what like. You already paid for it, so you might as well go.

Speaker 4:

Stay as long as you want after yeah, and that's what's so good about it.

Speaker 2:

It's not like an in and out. So do you have like pool, hot tub or for after or anything of that nature?

Speaker 3:

Not yet. We are in talks to figure out hydrotherapy, so stay tuned. Okay, what's going to come when the porch opens?

Speaker 1:

You guys are thinking expansion and you just open, which is really cool, that's really smart.

Speaker 2:

Let's go from 8,000 to 12,000 square feet. It's fine.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, we got a whole other location in the works, though, when you were talking to the franchisor in texas and they're like bentonville, like, what like? Did they know what's going on here?

Speaker 4:

oddly enough. So it is a publicly traded company. The ceo was from russellville and which is stole at the university of arkansas.

Speaker 2:

So it was you know, sorry, so you know small town ark was.

Speaker 4:

COO. So you know small town Arkansas, you know all the city people. So Susan since moved on to another organization, but it made it easy. Oddly enough she was like I know exactly where Bentonville is. It's crazy that one hasn't opened here.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, but with it, you know it's like anyone opening a business here where they're like by geography. You know some of them were scratching their heads and then the software went after it to say, okay, how do we score this as a franchise and is the demand going to be there? And it was like off the charts.

Speaker 4:

Lit up red.

Speaker 3:

So yeah, we're really excited.

Speaker 1:

And the area I mean right outside Pinnacle, right outside Shadow Valley, where all the new stuff's going on. I mean you couldn't have picked a better spot really.

Speaker 3:

Well, we tried to accommodate our friends in Fayetteville too, so don't be afraid to come up, but we wanted to be right off the highway, yeah yeah, smart. So they could park easily. We looked at the mall so that we could get walking traffic, but it's a bit of a parking nightmare. It's not relaxing, not luxury. So yeah, we're right off the highway.

Speaker 4:

You can pop in park easily. Suv come pick you up. You're in your party, all right, you're out for the day.

Speaker 2:

So what would you recommend for Friday, the 14th, valentine's Day, full day? Angie and I car service pick us up like just make it happen Full day, full day I want to be there all day.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, well, we have VIP suites, so we can set you up in.

Speaker 2:

Yep.

Speaker 3:

So if you're not in the party room, we require a minimum of four people to book our party room. But for couples that come in and it's a VIP experience we have VIP rooms. You down.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, Sorry Matt, you can't fit. That's weird.

Speaker 4:

I'd be awkward In your robe. I feel like.

Speaker 2:

I'd be sliding through a table in the couple's room. I feel like the third wheel here. Yeah, I'd really like to get in on this. I don't have any trading material. All right, I'm serious.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, so we have transformation journeys where you can partner many services together and we've got them staged in time to get you through it. So I would recommend one of those, and it would just depend on do you want a hydrafacial?

Speaker 2:

I just want to show up Illuminate facial. I just want to show up and you have the.

Speaker 1:

Can you really be there all day?

Speaker 3:

You can be there for a good three hours in service.

Speaker 2:

That's perfect.

Speaker 3:

It's the art of our transport.

Speaker 2:

So if you're three hours and then you're an hour on each end, that's, you know, five hours, it's an after I go to Jensen. I'm there for three hours. Two hours to your place, right? So alright, I want to show up on Valentine's Day, angie and I, emily, you guys in Emily with Matt or Emily with me, that's between y'all, I can't guess it's you guys. I'm in, you're in.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, I also bought. For Christmas, I bought Emily a $150 gift card.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, so we can use it towards that. Thank you very much. Yeah, so just plan the day. Okay, we'll plan it for you, Our concierge staff, so when you call in or you show up to book at our spa we have an amazing concierge staff who can help you on your journey and personalize each one for you especially, and they'll pick you up at the house and you just be you. You got the driver and everything. I love it look at you.

Speaker 3:

This is amazing he's like look at me, I just knocked out my whole plan I got dinner on the 13th spa on the 14th and and you're here and you look like a hero.

Speaker 1:

More importantly, yeah, I'm always a hero and alissa's gonna do some work for us today yes, we brought alissa today.

Speaker 3:

Somebody's got to put on the woodhouse robe, so every guest gets what size is the robe? It. This is our like it'll fit any of us medium, largey medium medium, it's medium, so all right, it sounds like bobby's passing on this one now she can do the treatment without the rope, but we thought it would be fun so you could see we also sell these in our retail space, which make a great that's a nice looking room.

Speaker 2:

It is a nice thing. Oh it is. I'm like it actually looks a little big, for you got to take your coat off and say, all right, I'll take the coat off. You haven't been working out. I mean well, the knee surgery's been a problem. I don't see very many people wearing a robe around.

Speaker 1:

Golly, this is tough crap, a guy wearing a t-shirt.

Speaker 3:

Alyssa's going to do gua sha, so she's going to tell you all about it.

Speaker 2:

I want some gua sha. What it's this?

Speaker 5:

It helps stimulate blood flow and circulation.

Speaker 2:

Let's bring you into frame right.

Speaker 3:

Because our viewers want to see you.

Speaker 5:

Bring those tools over here. These are. Gua Sha tools.

Speaker 2:

He's excited, he's got his love line.

Speaker 1:

I haven't seen it this happy ever.

Speaker 2:

I'm engaged today.

Speaker 5:

These are the tools that we use at Squashaw, so I will show you in a minute. I'll do it on whoever wants to go first, but it's going to stimulate blood flow and lymphatic drainage, so it helps reducing puffiness and making you look younger, like you said earlier.

Speaker 1:

None of us are puffy, it'll help.

Speaker 5:

none of us are poppy with like wrinkles and you want your jawline more defined, it'll help with that.

Speaker 1:

Your cheekbones more defined, it helps with that. Well, I look, I'm 53. I look like 51 when we're done with this definitely.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, you look comfortable now this, this rope's amazing.

Speaker 3:

You're sad.

Speaker 1:

This is amazing. All right, sammy, who's your guinea pig? You?

Speaker 2:

You want to do it, who wants?

Speaker 5:

to do it.

Speaker 2:

It's up to you, oh, you choose. You can choose who needs it the most. Yeah, who needs it? The?

Speaker 5:

most. I can't. I'm not a pig.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, just go. He's got the robe on. He's got the robe on already.

Speaker 5:

You should be laying down.

Speaker 4:

Go back, just like leaning back.

Speaker 2:

Here we go. That'll fall out of your chair.

Speaker 1:

This is the best podcast ever.

Speaker 3:

So Gua Sha Alyssa is an enhancement. Yes, I can add this.

Speaker 5:

To what services? Any of the facials you can add, it's an extra 15 minutes.

Speaker 1:

Is she done?

Speaker 2:

yet you stole it, I stole it.

Speaker 5:

I would usually start here.

Speaker 2:

You need a solid 30.

Speaker 5:

I'm going to start here. I'm going to start here.

Speaker 2:

My fingers are cold.

Speaker 5:

Will that help? Is this going to hurt? It's not gonna hurt. Does it hurt? No, it feels amazing.

Speaker 1:

This is called what Gua.

Speaker 2:

Sha.

Speaker 1:

Oh my god, I feel like I'm 30.

Speaker 4:

Finding that cheekbone.

Speaker 3:

So we have Gua Sha for facials, as well as Gua Sha scalp additions as well.

Speaker 2:

Will it make my hair grow back? I don't know.

Speaker 3:

Stimulated says it's going to make you younger, right, but yeah, you can add each on as an enhancement. So scalp treatment or for your face.

Speaker 5:

Are you relaxed?

Speaker 1:

I feel like I'm snoring and sleeping. This is amazing. I gotta be honest again. I started the podcast with this there's nobody doing anything like this. There's massage, there's cryotherapy, there's all these individual places, but you guys have really nailed it. This is super cool.

Speaker 3:

Thank you, we we're excited. We can't wait for everyone to come check us out.

Speaker 5:

You want the other side.

Speaker 1:

We can all hide, I can't look 30 on one side.

Speaker 2:

We can't have him on balance.

Speaker 1:

I can't look 30 on one side and 50 on the other. Alyssa, how long Were you a new employee? Obviously yes. Were you ordered by them to come, or you found them, or?

Speaker 5:

how did you get over there? Um, so they kind of found me. Olivia is brooks what are we?

Speaker 3:

what do we call you guys?

Speaker 5:

you and olivia esty bestie, they're the esty besties so we both just graduated over the summer and this is my first, so I got pretty lucky.

Speaker 1:

So do you have to have a cosmetology license to do this?

Speaker 5:

Esthetician.

Speaker 1:

Okay.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, but Alyssa is absolutely killing it. Very highly reviewed. I suggest anyone shout out Alyssa book with Alyssa.

Speaker 2:

So have you. I have a question for you. Have you ever had a patient with this much?

Speaker 5:

damage? I mean, I don't think so.

Speaker 2:

I thought, I thought that was good I'm seeing the results as I sit here, I mean I'm glad she chose josh, because my I got really good skin yeah, it looks so much better. Oh, you look amazing. You look like you're 52 and a half. You're glowing. This is amazing. The robe I mean I want to go to sleep. The robe is nice. That was great.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, so at Christmas we did our gift with purchase, then was the robes. So next time hang around, I'm sure they'll come up again for gift with purchase. But again, Markham Fitz, Valentine's Day, one hot gift for your love.

Speaker 2:

So I can still do the gift card, even though Terry's out of town. I can get the gift card and then next time we call again.

Speaker 4:

Gift cards can be bought online. We'd love for you to come in the spa, because we've got a little packaging material that really enhances the gift card.

Speaker 1:

Are you guys there on a regular basis or do you leave it to the management team? Chip and.

Speaker 3:

I, yeah. So Chip and I, we sell IT by day and spa by night. So yeah, we've got management staff there that'll help you out. So shout out to Courtney Killing it there. But yeah, courtney's the general manager If. But yeah, courtney's the general manager if you need anything at all she'd be happy to help you do? You guys do make an appearance occasionally oh yeah, we come in, unless it's used to seeing us up there. There's a lot of laundry to do. I'm up there doing laundry too sounds like you, josh.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, it's like you, josh. Josh is there on Sundays doing laundry have you done all the services?

Speaker 1:

now we're talking to the guy group. Have you done everything?

Speaker 4:

yeah, so it's a little difficult. I guess we're just speaking freely. Now, somebody, you're writing a check for how do you get naked on a table? You know I haven't got past that.

Speaker 1:

You got to get naked I don't know how to do that.

Speaker 3:

Well, usually people are naked under the robe. Under the robe, the massage.

Speaker 1:

So we talked about this, matt and boxer guy. I leave the boxers.

Speaker 2:

You can do that, we won't.

Speaker 1:

You can if you're tired of it, it's got to you know, it's just got to keep it in place. Sorry, I apologize, yeah, but I mean, have you done everything there?

Speaker 4:

Yeah, so part of the process for Woodhouse is the exploration, so you actually go to other spas to check it out before you actually even make the commitment.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, and we went to Littleton for three days.

Speaker 4:

Yeah, actually went to work in a spa.

Speaker 3:

But you're launching today. We are launching a brand new men's facial. Correct, the hot towel facial. You want to tell them about that? She's like you're going to be on the spot. She's like, no, slide her back in, get back in, no pressure.

Speaker 5:

I confirm, listen. No, pressure Back in frame. No, it is, though.

Speaker 3:

Okay, so tell us about the men's hot towel facial.

Speaker 5:

Hot towel facial. It's a lot like our other protocols. You guys will just have a detoxifying clay mask, Because men's skin is more oily typically.

Speaker 2:

I don't know, see, I wouldn't have thought that's fair it is. You would know, see, I wouldn't have thought that's fair it is. Yeah, you would know you have the degree.

Speaker 5:

Yes, but even if you have like it could look flaky. Sometimes that is because of oiliness Like you need to have like exfoliation done, that can help do that. I'm learning so much today, huh, mm-hmm.

Speaker 1:

Okay, so this is a 30-minute treatment.

Speaker 5:

No 50.

Speaker 2:

50, okay, 50. So is this something that would be included while Bobby's there for the day.

Speaker 3:

We can absolutely craft an experience that includes that.

Speaker 2:

I just want y'all to craft it. We're coming in. Let me know what time.

Speaker 1:

But he's going to wear his boxers, just to be clear.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, he's going to be boxing the whole time.

Speaker 3:

I mean I do that fun of you.

Speaker 1:

The protocol typically is to be right in the nude.

Speaker 5:

In the nude to you, yeah you still get like scalp massage and a hand in our I mean, how are you gonna go in the community room if you have your boxers?

Speaker 2:

I were the only guy like we've been going to Blake Street and I always have my boxers on.

Speaker 1:

Give us something on the steamer but Blake Street right, you guys, blake Street, you been there before. I'm gonna steam room. So Blake Street, right, you guys. At Blake Street, you've been there before. So we go to the steam room, so everybody's got just a towel on and Bobby goes in in his boxer shorts. I'm like okay, and then he's all sweaty and he wears the boxer shorts home.

Speaker 2:

No, I go commando home.

Speaker 1:

It should be the other way around.

Speaker 5:

We'll help him out.

Speaker 1:

Three hours is not enough time on Valentine's Day.

Speaker 5:

Let's keep him there all day. We'll teach him the ways of the world.

Speaker 1:

It's like Yoda To the Luke Skywalker. Show me the way it's fine.

Speaker 2:

Everyone does it different.

Speaker 3:

And we'll have your favorite snacks Ready for you too.

Speaker 2:

That charcuterie board. He kind of lit up when you said that. He did his love language. Angie loves strawberries. Val has a chocolate strawberry, I'm sure you'll find some nice treats. I'm not worried about it.

Speaker 3:

We refer to them as surprise and delights when you come in, it sounds amazing.

Speaker 1:

I mean he will love it. No, I'm being serious, You're going to love it.

Speaker 2:

No, I'm being serious, he's not going to let it go.

Speaker 1:

You're going to love this. For you, this is going to be wonderful. This will be your new go-to place, I can tell.

Speaker 2:

I'll add it to the list. You have a lot of go-to places, but you're going to love this. Yeah, it sounds amazing.

Speaker 1:

You have to get out of Bent spa day and then walk around Exactly.

Speaker 4:

That would be nice and shout out to Ashley's. Does have food as well, yeah.

Speaker 2:

Which we haven't been yet. We need to go and we need to get them on the podcast. So shout out to Ashley's. It's a really cool vibe.

Speaker 1:

Maybe if they want to come on, you guys should do some sort of co-marketing thing. When Ruth's opens, I'm ready to come dinner in a spa package or something along those lines. It would be killer over there. Yeah, just like walk from place to place.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, and we're doing. We did a holiday open house pre-opening so the community could really get a tour of what house, Because you don't understand the difference until you're in the door and then you can see the package that we put together. Um, but in march we're going to do our grand opening with the chamber, uh, so the ribbon cutting will be there and we're doing it b team will be there to do the press and we're doing an intersection with international women's day, so that's in march, so we're doing a women's empowerment event there.

Speaker 3:

So, uh, be on the lookout for more around that, but yeah, Love it.

Speaker 2:

You guys are amazing.

Speaker 1:

And I think to me, when we talked about when the gents play, it's like you're creating this higher-end experience. That's exactly what you guys are doing. I mean, there's other places to do massage. There's other places to do most of these treatments, not. Whatever you do, Nobody's doing anything. What you just did to my face.

Speaker 2:

You're looking good too. I feel great yeah.

Speaker 1:

I can see the difference, but you guys are super focused on the high-end experience and there's a definite market that you guys are going to kill. I mean it's really exciting for you guys to be here.

Speaker 3:

Thank you.

Speaker 1:

Thank you.

Speaker 2:

There's no membership. It's all per service. No membership.

Speaker 3:

We do have series, yeah. So series packages is our closest thing to a quote-unquote membership. So right now we're running a series where it's by five, no, by six you get the fifth one free. I think. By five, you get one free.

Speaker 2:

There you go. There, I was saying it backwards, yeah, yeah.

Speaker 3:

So by five get six of our hydro facials.

Speaker 1:

I like that. That's how the Jets Place packages work. Yeah, exactly Easy to sell. Yeah, I could just work. Yeah, easy to sell. Yeah, easy to sell.

Speaker 3:

It's not easy for me to say weird, nah, it's all good, we've been drinking. Yeah, we got you. It's the show thing.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, I mean Okay.

Speaker 3:

Well, good.

Speaker 2:

Gents should do a member experience yeah.

Speaker 1:

So, yeah, we want to do a Gents Place membership event over with you guys, something that'll be fun. Yeah, you guys have so much going on, though right now it's just it's, I mean, the first 60, 90 days of a new business. I mean you guys are all over the place. So, as things slow down like we're doing a member event next week with another one of our partners we always want to work with our members so we can bring 40 or 50 of our jazz place guys there for something at some point. Yeah, we would love that. I know it'll be. It'll be amazing, and what happens when we do that is my rob gets to experience for the first time. He goes. It's great. Now I'm gonna buy whatever, whatever, whatever my wife and everybody else. So we'll definitely put that on the docket for the summertime. It'll be a ton of fun, awesome.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, he loved that let's go all right website website, rogerswoodhouse spas with an scom.

Speaker 3:

you can find us there, our menus there. We have online booking. You can buy gift cards online, like Chip mentioned, but we would love to have you at the spa Again. It's 5400 West Northgate Road in Rogers.

Speaker 1:

Instagram, Facebook.

Speaker 3:

Instagram is Woodhouse Rogers. We are on Facebook as well, so we're active there.

Speaker 1:

TikTok right you like to. I'm with the trends.

Speaker 3:

TikTok. The influencers come in and put us on the TikTok. Granny Brooke doesn't know.

Speaker 2:

That's why I looked over at the other one. We all have to switch over to TikTok.

Speaker 3:

So, yeah, you'll find some stuff out there for sure if you search with us Rogers. So we've had some great folks and some great community partners that are helping us grow, and we always appreciate that.

Speaker 1:

You guys are doing it the right way. You're working with the right people. You guys know the community really well. It's going to be fantastic. I'm just super excited. We have a lot of people coming to the pod. It's like, oh, this is going to do. Well, you guys are coming in.

Speaker 2:

It's going to be absolute. Should have said my word. Maybe Ben as well. Tim, yeah, I was thinking about Blakeman's Prosecco. Having that, yeah, I would love that. You definitely need to get with him. You guys know Ben.

Speaker 1:

I know Ben yes so he's got his Prosecco line.

Speaker 3:

That would be great for you guys as well shout out to Ben he did participate in our open house and provided some giveaways for that open house night.

Speaker 1:

So yeah, ben's great, we love Blakeman's these guys spend a lot of money on watches with him. I thought you were going to say for your wife.

Speaker 5:

I was like did somebody tell Chip to put money on me More wives as well too, no, no, no.

Speaker 1:

No, no, not the wives. They get all the diamond earrings and other things. I was like they're watches from Blakeman's.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, great place to go.

Speaker 1:

Well, thank you guys for coming in. Thank you for my treatment. I feel so young. It was wonderful I'm, I didn't get anything.

Speaker 5:

You had a chance.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, it's fine, I'll just book something, cheers.

Speaker 3:

Cheers. Thanks guys, I appreciate you so much, appreciate you.

Speaker 2:

Cheers, yep. You guys did great. It was amazing.

Speaker 3:

Oh, thank you for having us. You make it easy.

Speaker 2:

But you guys are right, we don't have anyone that does what you guys do. Are you kidding me? You?

Speaker 1:

can get bits and pieces in different spots. I mean, some of the high-end stuff's not here, but walk in the door and just relax and have a whole freaking day.

Speaker 4:

But the water. Everyone's asking for the water. That's just not. You know, frank's a good point. It's like we bought a McDonald's. We're wanting to add a burrito to the menu and they're like it'll do pretty good, but we're almost going to ask for forgiveness.

Speaker 2:

Where do you stop? Because you can't keep adding. I think I can almost.

Speaker 4:

That patio? Yeah, you need their blessing to do that right the franchisor has to.

Speaker 1:

Here's a great area, yeah.

Speaker 3:

And if it was run like a tight ship, like McDonald's. Yes, they kind of have let people try some things. One thing we are seriously looking at adding but it's not on the menu yet is reiki healing. So you can come in. They have the crystal sound bowls that they'll play during your treatment. If a lot of times, if there's water in the room, it's even better because the water absorbs the sound. So if you're taking one of those baths, you have a reiki healer in there to kill your energy, hey, we'll go.

Speaker 2:

I love it.

Speaker 1:

I Was gonna set Bobby up with when he comes in. Who's gonna be his person for three hours?

Speaker 3:

You'll see.

Speaker 1:

Very generous tipper. This man is a very generous person, is a very generous person. Gotta come see me, she's like did we just become best friends?

Speaker 5:

I'll write down your number. Done done.

Speaker 2:

No, take my number down, because are you in UNM land? Yeah, yeah, set it up where the four of us come in. It's a Friday, so you're going to have to clear your calendar for a good part of the day.

Speaker 1:

Well, no, it has to be afternoon after work.

Speaker 2:

After work. What time are you open until?

Speaker 3:

On Fridays we're open until 7.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, so it's going to be 2 or 3 around the start and you're out of town, terry's with Natalie in Atlanta for a cheer. It'd be weird if I was like the third.

Speaker 3:

Do you do a competitive cheer too? Who do you guys cheer with?

Speaker 2:

Infinity.

Speaker 3:

We do weird. If I was like the third, you do competitive cheer. To who do you guys cheer with infinity? Wait a shoe what we're in the beginning, okay. Okay, this she's like level two. So, yeah, we're still regional like Tulsa this weekend.

Speaker 2:

I'm a huge fan of Tulsa, so, like this time of year, like I, just like, I love the weighted blankets and so we have those too for you at the spa, if you really want one Love weighted blankets, so Carrie just started using Kennedy's weighted blanket Our oldest daughter's and she loves it. She's like Matt, I sleep so much better. No, it's so much better, have you?

Speaker 1:

ever tried it. I just can't get past the hatch.

Speaker 2:

I think I have a 30 pound and then I think we have like a 70 or 80 pound. She's got a heavy one. I can't do the heavy one, the heavy one like it's a whole thing, just to move it. They say you sleep better A hundred percent, like obviously you know. Okay, she gives me like the sheet on the side, but it's like I can't. Another thing I can't do anymore is I can't have couples massages because I fall asleep. I wanted to break that up.

Speaker 3:

Well, we go on vacation and Chip gets drunk and then he snores the whole time.

Speaker 2:

And Carrie's like you're not texting at all. I had to listen to you snore and I was like it was amazing. That's because you were passed out the whole time and I was like I loved it. I want to pass out during a massage I I want to enjoy it, and then the massage lady's like that's how you know it's a good massage if you're sleeping.

Speaker 3:

That's right. It's good we're getting busy. We're constantly tracking that utilization rate. But yeah, she just needs her thing. And as most of them join, they're like I can't leave where I have a full book of business to come here and have none. So it's like phasing one in and out you got to get her gifts.

Speaker 2:

But Diane does a lot of in-home right.

Speaker 3:

A lot of them do.

Speaker 2:

Yeah.

Speaker 3:

Because there wasn't a place to go. That's my fear.

Speaker 1:

So I was telling her, as a business owner, I would hate for Diana to come to you guys and then start working on bobby and then bobby's like oh well, let's take a hundred percent, I'll give you a 20 discount, I'll come to your house like that hurts the business. So there's a fine line there.

Speaker 3:

When you do that stuff. It is, it is, and so to get the spa started, we elected not to do any kind of non-competition agreement so they could. They can still work right now at other places found so that they can you almost have to for now but the idea is eventually yeah, you can't work both places, we also. We just don't want you learning our protocols anywhere else.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, because we're at a weird place with labor. It's so hard to find it and you can't. You have to be tiptoe around like you can yeah, you can't go and steal people on demand. Well, they could go to 10 other places.

Speaker 1:

This is the gents place issue as well, because I was telling somebody you open a sub shop, you can bring in any 17 year old but licensed, right, you have to bring in licensed people and there's only so many licensed people in these industries very hard to find well, and we have to be like it's a luxury experience.

Speaker 3:

So I'm like you have to have actual colored hair, you have to have a lot of body, yeah, like you gotta look the part. Yeah, like you got to look the part, and that's a lot for somebody to absorb when they could kind of call their shots going to people's houses.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, it's tough, but you guys, you're in the right location. Yeah, do you?

Speaker 3:

guys own that building. We are part owners in it.

Speaker 2:

It's hard to get right there, because you're in the heart of making money when you're not making money. You guys will get people. Ideally, you know, as long as we're not, rodgers would be a destination and you're, you're in the middle of the destination for people what we found from the vendor community and from the realtors.

Speaker 4:

I mean they're what they're wanting to bring people, clients, in. You know our vendor friends are like if we run out of that you can only do top golf. Yeah, xyz, so many times especially the women.

Speaker 3:

Like we had a lot of marketing friends who one of us pulled us aside and she's like I get a pedicure twice a week because I take I entertain clients that come in to call on walmart and that's like the girl thing to do if they don't, can't go out and get drunk or go eat in here every night.

Speaker 3:

She's like so we'll take him to get a pedicure. I'm sitting there getting a pedicure. I don't need twice a week. How cool would it be if I could come sit in the party room, order charcuterie, do massages.

Speaker 1:

So another thing that's good well we should talk to you. I mean, listen, I always take care of our members, we always try to do stuff. We're opening on the Walmart campus like New News.

Speaker 3:

Yeah.

Speaker 1:

And we're kind of a men's building and they have a women's building. Women's building has got a blow-dry bar, yeah.

Speaker 4:

They approached us whenever we were on this and we couldn't do it Opening at the same time.

Speaker 1:

There's no way. This is a way better location if we.

Speaker 2:

That was an against you, you're guys, but we could. Guys will go.

Speaker 1:

But we could like if we could pull the guys to come over to, yes, your guys place because we want to do some partisan with dry barn and work out, yeah, but if we can have offerings there to have guys come over, it's going to be highly women at your place, right?

Speaker 4:

yeah, most of it is other than bobby but you do have any guys that come in and get facials right now yeah I bet it's more than you think, like we wouldn't think that, but right, it's more it's not the majority, though, right.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, mostly women, right yes, I honestly get a lot of guys come in now and and here's the thing like just valentine's day as example, like we don't want to go out to dinner valentine's day, we don't want to go out to dinner the night after. It's a clusterfuck, it's rookie night, it just is. But if I could book this Friday afternoon, it's a freaking.

Speaker 1:

It's bad language. What?

Speaker 3:

She's not 12. She works for us Come on.

Speaker 2:

Sorry, it's been in the board.

Speaker 3:

No, we want to do more stuff like that. Like, hey, on New Year's Day we just were so new, we're trying to get our feet underneath us. But it was like, why don't we just bring in like Ivy Nutrition they sit in her quiet room, hook up the guests.

Speaker 2:

Just freaking Ivy.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, put a drip bag on I get Ivy at least every other week.

Speaker 1:

Jeff and Todd Manley, again friends with us. They were on the podcast. They have a spot right next to me.

Speaker 2:

Every other week I'm in there Over by SkyMassage over there, the MedSlide oh okay, vibrant, yeah, okay.

Speaker 1:

Great, super good dude. He's doing the IV stuff, he's doing the compression boots. You guys have so many synergistic businesses.

Speaker 3:

Exactly Like we're not competing. We just have the same guests.

Speaker 1:

So like, come hang out in the quiet room one day and do your little. Do that. Blake has been showing up in the lobby with a bunch of watches one night, 100%.

Speaker 3:

You can wear your boots your compression boots, put your watch on.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, you can partner with Jeff and Todd and have an IV night in your quiet rooms and not have to go hire a bunch of RNs to give it an IV. They're always looking for that kind of stuff. We're in there every other week.

Speaker 4:

I think that would be like Shadow Valley and Pinnacle after 4Ball or the tribute or member guest.

Speaker 3:

I should have mentioned that. Yeah, so Pinnacle has launched us as their spa amenity, so we accept Pinnacle country numbers.

Speaker 1:

Did you go directly to Mike?

Speaker 4:

Hudson. Yeah, we tried Shadow Valley and didn't get it.

Speaker 3:

But we launched that, so it's a cool little thing. They can charge their member number, they can park their golf cart outside. We're right outside the Gixxers Fantastic.

Speaker 4:

Pinnacle Golf Cart sitting outside where you get a placer. Well, ashley's had that golf cart sitting there. That's never moved. Have you seen that? How is Ashley's business? Is it doing? We talked to all the. There's always cars there.

Speaker 3:

I mean it's picking up. But yeah, the inside is awesome.

Speaker 4:

I didn't expect it.

Speaker 3:

I haven't even heard of it.

Speaker 2:

Should we go there tonight. It's a wine and sake bar Well when everybody sees it they think it's a strip club, the.

Speaker 4:

They did a really good job on the inside. Should we go there tonight? I?

Speaker 3:

think they have a short rib. I mean they've got some substantial food.

Speaker 2:

We'll go to Chicken, then we'll go get drinks there after Chicken.

Speaker 1:

That was our first podcast. Hutch's National Hot Chicken.

Speaker 2:

It's in the old Panera. The Panera was behind Flying Bird. We're Flying Bird Over by Raging Trees. It's head full On that corner of 102. We're flying Brunei Over by Razortree Five guys. Yeah, it's hitful On that corner of 102.

Speaker 3:

The wall? Oh yeah, Okay, I know where you are.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, what was I going to ask you guys? And you guys have other. You have a tenant in your building as well, right?

Speaker 3:

Upstairs the hatchery.

Speaker 1:

That's good, so they're paying rent.

Speaker 4:

They also own the building, so it's them, us, and then John, who's the owner of that five acres.

Speaker 3:

Mitchell, married to Christian Boseman. He owned the land and developed it with Breck, breck's last name. That's now the engine on the corner there.

Speaker 4:

Anyway, they bought that five acres. It's more than them All the buildings. They sold them the lots, Then they're a partner.

Speaker 3:

In the tenant-owned buildings.

Speaker 2:

Brilliant and they know you guys all take care of it and they're all well and good, You're not like you get better interest because they're all owner-occupied.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, the bank favored that model.

Speaker 2:

But, like I say, no one would have ever thought I mean John L Hunt did, but no one else did that this would turn in. This is like going to be the hub.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, I mean, we got married 18 years ago, we had our ceremony at Ophir's new location. We were at the glass chapel Mildred B Cooper in Bellavista yeah, but then I wanted the reception down in Fayetteville at Pratt Place Farm, before it was a thing. I mean, this was 18 years ago, and so to get guests back and forth. It was like, where do we stay? Well, the Embassy Suites was here, but there wasn't shit around it.

Speaker 4:

No, it was a field around. Yeah, I mean, the trout farm was still where.

Speaker 3:

And so to see just like the explosion it's just the beginning. But we got to figure out how to get Fayetteville to come up here. It is tough.

Speaker 2:

Well, all of the people we lived in Fayetteville for a lot of years and everyone we know, they come here for everything, because Fayetteville shot theirself in the foot and hasn't let anyone come in, so everyone comes to them.

Speaker 4:

Ellen Rogers, you every that's hard enough we bought gonna bring you better champagne, so the numbers say it'll support another location down there. Especially where do you put it?

Speaker 2:

he would love to partner with you and he brought on his new glassware and all that. Have you seen his new?

Speaker 3:

glassware capital salon. It's like you could go to town. Have you seen his new glassware? Like you could go to downtown.

Speaker 2:

Have you seen his new glassware that he's spread in no Baccarat?

Speaker 3:

Yeah.

Speaker 1:

It's.

Speaker 2:

German crystals. You guys know Ben well, yeah, just from school and from yeah Same age, I mean the.

Speaker 4:

Prosecco at your guys' shop would be. I was talking to Emily. I'm going to buy for a liquor license Just beer and wine, just to see To sell it. Yeah, for the parties.

Speaker 3:

For the parties.

Speaker 4:

If they want to do a bridal party or a baby shower or something.

Speaker 3:

Buy the bottle. Because we can only do two illegal ports the liquor license is so expensive Is it easier to do a BYOB and just charge a corkage, yeah.

Speaker 4:

I mean maybe, and then you could bring bourbon if you wanted bourbon?

Speaker 2:

Yeah, I don't know that would be the best thing, just charge. I don't know.

Speaker 3:

Because otherwise it's carrying inventory too, which sucks.

Speaker 2:

It's expensive. It's expensive and you can't carry it.

Speaker 1:

You guys are gifting, right? You'd be like hey, bring your bottle and it's just a corkage.

Speaker 3:

I don't know how all that works Some locations do VIP packages, so you have your robe waiting there, they get them monogrammed and you could keep a locker with your booze.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, lockers are popular we don't have enough lockers.

Speaker 3:

I don think and do that. Yeah, note to self on second location. But yeah, we did three by two, so we got to open another one. That's up, but we bought Washington rights for two yeah, washington County, benton County and this Tulsa, because I wasn't sure in Northwest Arkansas could sustain two. I think the college market could throw it off in the numbers.

Speaker 1:

We talked about Fayetteville. It's a demographic, it doesn't work, it's different. I mean, if you're over by the Blessings, you're over by in Johnson, it could work, but I don't know that the population is there. It's too close. I think it's too close to restore it.

Speaker 3:

I mean, they might as well.

Speaker 1:

The size of the. I mean the cost of your build-out. I don't know you need the ROI.

Speaker 3:

Yeah, and it's hard enough to staff one right now. I just I was telling Alyssa where do you find 50 therapists.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, it's me. Do you have 25 people on staff?

Speaker 4:

We just did payroll.

Speaker 3:

yeah, I mean, they don't all, like Diana doesn't work full-time, so you know we're filling holes when people will give us hours right now.

Speaker 4:

so yeah, we have to touch people probably 40. But that's a lot of content.

Speaker 1:

It's a lot of juggling it's the hardest thing that we have is again, if you open a sub shop, you bring any 17 year old fits the bill, but you know they're.

Speaker 1:

These are like someone licensed, specialized and and what I've heard from diana and I. I've been very close with her like it was so impressed with you two and culture and how you are as owners and people and that's why we keep people at the Jets place because Emily and I are so close to everybody. I agree you guys will bring people in. They won't leave because of how you treat them. They're not a widget that's making you dollars. They're a human being that you're trying to build and grow and help compensate and that'll, in the long run, that'll work.

Speaker 3:

I take her for our lesson, me too. Good, well, thank you so much I can't thank you enough for the opportunity.
