You might think a podcast host sits on the outside, calmly collecting other people’s stories. I don’t. Every conversation I hold changes me and this quiet Everyday Warrior Moments reflection is me saying that out loud.

Between the bigger guest interviews, I slow things down to share what’s usually unspoken, the way stories of grief, loss, trauma, reinvention and hope land in my own life. Sometimes a guest’s words hit closer to home than I expect. Sometimes I ask a question and realise I need the answer too. I talk honestly about navigating healing, purpose and doubt and why I’m not here pretending I’ve got it all figured out.

The heartbeat of this moment is a simple, steady idea of resilience. Being an everyday warrior isn’t about arriving at a destination or looking strong compared to someone else. Strength is continuation. If you’re still here, still trying, still taking even the smallest step forward, your resilience is real and it doesn’t need anyone’s permission. We finish with a slow breath, a small reset you can take into the rest of your day.

If this lands with you, share it with someone who needs a gentler definition of strength, and please subscribe, leave a review or send a recommendation so more people can feel seen and supported.

Welcome And Why You Matter

Trudie Marie

This is Everyday Warrior Moments. Thank you, truly, for being here and for choosing to subscribe and support the podcast. It means more than you probably realise, and it allows me to keep creating these conversations and this space. This is a quieter moment between our guest episodes, a place to slow things down, to reflect and to take a breath. These episodes are just me, sharing thoughts, lessons, and gentle reminders as I continue to walk in my own journey too. So wherever you are right now, whether you're starting your day, ending it, or somewhere in between, let's take a few minutes together. Welcome to Everyday Worry Moments. This is a short space between the bigger conversations with my guests each fortnight. It's a few minutes to pause, breathe, and reflect. But today I want to share something personal with you, something that sits quietly behind every episode of the main podcast. Because while I'm the one that asks all the questions, I'm also sitting here learning, growing, and walking in my own journey. I think when people think of a podcast host, they might imagine somebody observing from the outside. But the truth is I'm never untouched by the stories that I hear. Every guest who sits down with me brings something real, something inside their grief, their loss, the trauma, the reinvention, and even hope. And something often moves inside of me or shifts inside of me as I'm listening. A sentence could land differently, a truth could hit closer to home, or a lesson from the guest feels like it was meant just for me. There have often been moments when I've asked questions and found myself needing the answer just as much as the guest. It could be a moment where they've talked about setting boundaries and I realize that I could set better ones myself. It could be a moment where they've talked about keeping on going, and I realize all the lessons that I've learned by doing that myself. Every story does carry a lesson, not just for the listeners, but for me as well. And I don't take that lightly. There's something I think I need to say out loud. I am not separate from these stories. I don't sit in a place of I've got it all figured out. In fact, I'm navigating my own healing, my own journey, my own seasons of doubt. Some days I wake up feeling strong, but others I feel really tired. Some days I feel deeply grounded in my purpose, but then other days I'm still trying to figure it out. And that's okay. Because my idea of being an everyday warrior doesn't mean that you arrive at some destination. It just means you're willing to keep showing up one day, one step at a time. I feel deeply honored that people trust me with their stories, and I'm extremely grateful because they trust me with the lessons. Maybe you're sitting there right now thinking I'm not as strong as those guests. But here's what I've learned in the time of doing the podcast. Strength isn't about comparison, it's about continuation. You don't need a podcast episode to validate your own resilience. If you're still here and you're still trying and you're still taking steps forward, even small ones, then you are just as much an everyday warrior, too. Before we finish, I want you to take one slow breath in and then let it go. Because one thing I've learned from hosting this podcast is we all learn as we go, we are all rising or becoming in our own way, and none of us, including myself, have it done perfectly. So thank you for walking this journey with me. Thank you for being part of the Everyday Warrior community, and thank you for becoming part of Everyday Warrior Moments. I look forward to seeing you again in the next episode. Thank you for being part of the Everyday Warrior community and for supporting the podcast. It really means a lot. If something in this episode stayed with you, I invite you to share it a message, a post, a simple recommendation. It helps more people feel seen and supported. And don't forget the Everyday Warriors podcast is always there for deeper conversations and real stories from around the world. Take care and I'll see you again in the next moment.
