A dynamic and well-rounded leader, Jason Hughes understands first-hand the viewpoint of the contractor, the investor, and the owner. With an undergrad in construction management, Jason spent the early part of his career working as a project manager for one of Atlanta’s top commercial contracting firms. In 2006, he transitioned to the developer side of the table, managing the construction program for $330 million-dollar deals across the southeast and later was engaged to do commercial project advisory work for an investment bank. Yet, it was in 2012, that Jason found his niche at IMPACT.

In 2021, Jason co-founded Impact Development Partners (IDP) with John Akin to sponsor multifamily development throughout the Southeastern United States leveraging the development and construction management expertise of the Impact Development Management team to execute on this vision.

Kendall Golightly is a well-known name in the Atlanta development community, having successfully delivered over $2 Billion in real estate. As Senior Vice President, he brings a wealth of knowledge that spans equity development, program management, engineering, construction management and real estate. His tenure with companies like Carter, Novare, and Resort Ventures speaks to his ability to manage multi-family and resort-style projects while his recent oversight of the City of Sandy Springs City Springs, a $300 Million mixed-use development demonstrates his versatility. Beyond capable of leading projects through the various stages of development and construction, Kendall remains grounded in his approach to client service, connecting whole-heartedly to the project’s goals while emphasizing the importance of relationships.

Vanessa has nearly two decades of marketing and business development experience in the engineering and construction industry throughout the southeast. She is skilled at developing and implementing strategic growth plans to make her partners more successful. Vanessa also coaches young and mid-level professionals on best practices in career development, including goal setting and building a professional network. An accomplished multi-tasker with a penchant for to-do lists, she is adept at managing concurrent assignments while facilitating clear communication among all stakeholders. Vanessa provides leadership and intentional focus in pursuing new business opportunities and marketing efforts. Her expertise includes strategy development, industry trends and research, and proposal and conference coordination.
