good morning. Grab your coffee, find a favorite chair, and let's take a breath together. Welcome to Ember Mornings. Your space to breathe, reflect, and begin your day on purpose. Today we continue our exploration of alignment. Because before we can course correct, we have to observe without judgment. But with curiosity. So today's mantra clarity begins with curiosity. Yesterday I shared how our team made the hard decision to move forward from the fund that we were building. And even though it wasn't in alignment anymore for any of us, it was still tough and it was a hard decision. Though it was the right move, I found myself in this wide open space of now what? Where do I go from here? So I sat down with my journal ready to dream big, and I asked the question, what do I want? I was ready to write down all the things, but nothing came, nothing clear came. I didn't know what I wanted. Why? Honestly, because I don't know that I had ever asked myself that question, what do I truly want? I couldn't align with what I didn't even know yet. I could have written pages of the shoulds, what I should want, what would make sense, what other people expected of me. But I couldn't hear me. So I did the only thing I knew to do, I got curious. I just kept asking. I kept writing it down. What do I want? What do I actually love? I didn't ask what sounds good, not what makes money, not what other people want from me. What do I want? What do I love? What sounds good to me? And I asked myself, what lights me up? I wrote down simple things, how I love the feeling of early mornings and a hot cup of coffee in my hand, how I love encouraging and connecting with others, how I love to travel and read books. And I just kept asking and writing, and I let these things rise up from me and slowly things started to clarify. So your insight for the day: We don't drift into alignment. We choose it one clear, curious moment at a time. And sometimes that clarity doesn't come from knowing what's next. It comes from having the courage to let go of what is no longer true. So your prompt for today, what in my life is taking more than it gives me? What feels heavy, not because it's hard, but because it's just not true anymore? And then ask yourself, what do I truly love? You might not get the answers today, and that's okay. Ask again tomorrow and again, and the next day, and let it rise up from within you. You don't have to fix it all today. Just name it. Because awareness is momentum. Alright, let's EMBR the day ahead with clarity, with courage, and one deep breath at a time. You're not behind, you're becoming.
