Derek Hartman (season 2)

An energetic, creative, and outgoing American, Derek has called Denmark home since 2017. With a background in sales, account management, and education, he brings curiosity, strong communication skills, and a people-first mindset to every project. His experience as an educator instilled empathy, flexibility, coaching, and cultural intelligence, skills he now leverages to help others understand and thrive in Danish culture. Through speaking, consulting, and content creation, Derek shares real-life insights as the host of #VOTEHOME Season 2 & What Are You Doing in Denmark, podcasts dedicated to understanding the democratic voting system in Denmark & making Denmark make sense.

Narcis George Matache

He is a civil activist for the political rights of internationals in Denmark. He is the founder of Last Week in Denmark, a board member of AMIS, and CEO of Aalborg Institute for Development. He has published two books on the topic of European citizenship in three different languages and has been an active part of the debate on European Union topics since 2014. Former vice-president of Europæisk Ungdom and former national board member of Europabevægelsen.

Zoé Elkær Nicot (season 1)

She is a board member of New Europe & Saga and co-founded the European Debate Initiative, an NGO that organizes debates about European and global affairs, including politics, law, culture, and more. She did her BA in European Studies, majoring in EU law from the University of Amsterdam. She worked at the Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Paris, before returning as a Political Assistant in the Danish Parliament.
