I just finished the episode with Kristen Kovar. I am Cooper, the friend Kristen drove to Louisville for after we lost our son Deaton. I remember hearing about her loss with Mary Claire and my Wife and I were so sad for her, Nick and Cassidy. Kristen was exactly the person we needed in that moment when she dropped everything and drove 3 hours to comfort us. She brought a perspective that no one else that we knew had. As she stated, I’m not a believer but my wife is. Having Kristen with us when the priest showed up was incredible. My wife needed her unwavering faith in that moment. We will ALWAYS be so thankful for her. Everyone needs a person like Kristen in their life. She is such an inspiration. Thank you so much for inviting her to the podcast to tell her story.
