Motherhood Matters and because it matters so much we have to take care of our physical, emotional, mental and spiritual health so we can connect with our children in powerful ways.
As we nurture our own progress and growth we are more available to help our children through challenges as well as setting an example they can follow.
Having a group of likeminded women to connect and learn from is invaluable and here at Motherhood Matters we're building a village of Christ centered, deliberate women who want to make the world a better place by digging in at home to nurture the rising generation. We recognize that although we are involved in many meaningful pursuits, the most powerful influence we can have is at home.

Today I’m talking to my best friend from high school Kristen Duke.
Kristen and I grew up together and went through the highs and lows of teenage life mostly attached at the hip. Now we’re parenting teens and young adults and trying to figure out how to help them navigate the world in positive ways that will help them become the best version of themselves.
Kristen is a wealth of knowledge in the teen parenting space. Today she’s sharing some things we can STOP doing and some things we can START doing to become more trusted by our teenagers!
