Lisa Greenberg was hired as the Public Affairs Office for the Cape Coral Police Department in 2023. She supports all public affairs activities, including working with the media and creating content for the department’s social media outlets. She handles all forms of external and internal communication. She was an Anchor at FOX-4 for nine years before joining the Department. She has a Bachelor of Science in Communications from the University of Florida.
Officer Mercedes Simonds is a Public Affairs Officer for the Department. Officer Phillips started with the Cape Coral Police Department as a patrol officer in 2022. Before that, she was an officer for the Montgomery County Police Department in Maryland for three years. She has a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Southeastern University in Florida and a Master of Science in Forensic Psychology with a specialization in Police Psychology from Walden University.
