St. George Says Goodbye To Ironman Race

The curtain is falling on Ironman St. George after an impressive 15-year run that transformed our community and established Southern Utah as a premier destination for endurance events. This bittersweet farewell marks the end of a significant chapter in our local sports history.

Join host Jeremy Larkin and special guest Colby Nielson, a longtime race volunteer coordinator and high school math teacher, as they unpack the fascinating history and impact of Ironman in St. George. From its beginnings as a full-distance race to the switch to the 70.3 format, and even hosting both World Championship events during COVID when traditional locations couldn't, St. George has built an incredible Ironman legacy.
