Tim Conrad, APR
Tim is an artist in public relations, public participation, and emergency management who excels at intense, challenging work. His varied background is a key asset to many emergency operations and management teams. Tim brings decades of operational, emergency response, leadership, and planning experience to the room, along with knowledge gained through various Indigenous engagement and public participation projects.
While his work has been adopted, studied, and cited globally by academics, authors, and hosts, his latest pursuits are to develop new practices for Indigenous relationships and engagement, emergency planning, and communications.
Conrad also serves as a sessional faculty at the Justice Institute of BC, and host of the Wildfires, Floods and Chaos Communications Podcast. He began Butterfly Effect Communications in 2015.
