Melissa Kiplagat is an international actress and media personality, globally known for her lead role as Akisa in Kenya’s 1st licensed Netflix show, Country Queen. 

Over her decade-long career, she has taken on the starring role in over 5 TV shows and has appeared in dozens of films and plays in Kenya and the UK. When not acting she serves as a TV host, and also trains upcoming actors under her MKM initiative.  

Driven by her passion for telling Kenyan stories, Melissa is now bringing her talents to The Light Within Us Podcast. With her wealth of experience and unwavering dedication, she is excited to provide a platform for raw and honest storytelling.
