Mark Roberts  is a first-generation Mexican American film producer with a passion for telling stories that give voice to diverse groups. Most recently Roberts teamed up with Mario Lopez to produce The Expanding Universe of Ashley Garcia for Netflix (2 seasons) and Steppin’ into the Holiday for Lifetime Television.

 
Roberts also produced the Strangers With Candy the Movie, written and starring friends Stephen Colbert, Amy Sedaris and Paul Dinello. The film was an official selection of the Sundance Film Festival.

Recent producing highlights include the documentary about the life of Painter/Activist Carlos Almaraz, Carlos Almaraz / Playing with Fire (Netflix),  “Meet Me Next Christmas” also for Netflix starring Christina Milian and featuring music by PENTATONIX, written by Camilla Cordelia and Molly Halderman.
