Pinterest just dropped their Spring 2026 Trend Report, and if you're a service provider wondering what to create, pin, or blog about this season, this is the episode you need.

I'm breaking down all four major trends from the report, backed by real search data from over 600 million Pinterest users. We're talking micro-makeovers (up 415%), comfort food over spring detoxes (eggplant parm is up 785%, and I'm here for it), tiny sanctuaries and intentional connection, and why spring cleaning is basically the new self-care.

But I'm not just listing trends. I'm showing you exactly how to use each one in YOUR marketing, no matter what kind of service provider you are. Whether you're a photographer, coach, designer, or creative, you'll walk away knowing which keywords to use, what content to create, and how to position your offers so they match what people are already searching for on Pinterest right now.

If you've been wondering what to pin this spring, this episode is your cheat sheet.

Hello everyone. I'm so excited. I am starting to do something really special just for my podcast listeners. Pinterest has basically an annual trend, and then every quarter or so they do like another trend. So instead of putting these on my YouTube channel, I wanted to do something special. I've been podcasting since 2018, and I am now in the top 25% of podcasts. So I'm I really want to do something special for all of you listeners, and that means delivering the goods just in my podcast when it comes to trends. And just to let you know, because I literally get this question every single time, instead of just sharing the trends, I'm gonna tell you exactly how to apply them for your business as well. I'm gonna be giving all kinds of helpful tips and advice for you on how you can use these trends to help get seen more because Pinterest doesn't just have the trends happening right now, but what they can see is the trends that are happening in the future. And whatever trends on Pinterest, it typically trends everywhere else. Pinterest kind of captures the feeling of people before it appears out there in like real life, but it does go out there. So let's go ahead and just dive in. Pinterest just told you exactly what to create this spring. Every quarter, Pinterest drops a trend report that basically hands you a content roadmap. And most people scroll right past it. But here's the thing: Pinterest isn't guessing. They are pulling all of this data from the actual search behavior of over 600 million monthly active users, meaning 600 million people are active on Pinterest at least once a month and most often more, right? These are people who are actively planning what to buy, what to try, and what to do next. And that's not social media scrolling, that's real search intent. The spring 2026 trend report just came out, and the theme is crystal clear. People want to feel good about their lives right now, not overhaul everything. That is literally on the hearts and minds of everyone right now in what's going on in our world. They're choosing comfort over perfection, personality over trends, and small meaningful upgrades over massive life changes. If you're a service provider wondering what to pin, what to blog about, or how to position your offer this season, this report is your cheat sheet. And FYI, I created a new cheat sheet for spring that is in the visibility vault. I'll give you more information about it in a bit. So let me walk you through the four big trends and more importantly, exactly how to use them in your marketing because I think it's gonna help. Trend number one. And by the way, these trends aren't just about content that you're putting out, but it could be about services that you might create and things like that. The sky's the limit in all of this. Trend number one is curated comfort and micro makeovers. What Pinterest is seeing, the all-white everything era is done. Gen Z and younger millennials are really leading a shift toward bold, personality-filled spaces. They're not waiting for the dream house or a big renovation budget. They are making their current spaces feel like them with color, vintage fines, and low lift changes. Some of the search numbers are wild. Quote, my room, my rules, unquote, is up 415%. Quote, dark cottage core kitchen, unquote, has jumped 915%. Quote, Grandma Core Kitchen, unquote, is up 545%. And searches for cozy reading nooks in small spaces has climbed 455%. You know exactly what my husband will be working on for me. The vibe, comfort over status, playfulness over approval, and personal over trendy. So how can you use this in your marketing? This trend is all about small, meaningful upgrades, and that's the exact energy that your marketing should tap into. If you're a photographer, create content around, quote, mini brand refresh, unquote, sessions, or quick visual updates. Think, quote, five brand photos you can take in your living room, unquote, or quote, how to style a cozy workspace for your brand shoot, unquote, which would be super helpful for brand photographers like myself who go into homes and it's not sort of a clean space so that it makes a real good backdrop for those brand photos. So getting that information out ahead of time is super helpful. These topics really align perfectly with what people are already searching for. If you're a designer or a creative, pin content around small but impactful visual changes, website mini makeovers, brand color refreshes, or quote, one change that transforms your homepage, unquote. That type of content will do very well right now. If you're a coach or a strategist, frame your offers around micro upgrades, not total transformations. Quote, one small marketing shift that changes everything, unquote, which is literally a video I just did. It lands better now than overhaul your entire strategy. Keywords to use on your pens for this: micro makeover, small space refresh, cozy workspace, brand refresh ideas, and personalized branding. Trend two spring soups, not spring diets. What Pinterest is seeing? Here's a trend I 1000% love. Pinterest users are ditching the quote spring detox, unquote, mentality and really leaning into comfort food with a creative modern twist. Egg plant parmesan is up 785%. Clam chowder recipes climbed 315%, and leftover spaghetti recipes up 570%. I personally love when I make spaghetti, the spaghetti the next day coming out of the fridge and warming it up always tastes so much better. Or at least I'll stand by that. People are also getting into low waste, budget-friendly cooking, as you can imagine in the world today. Searches for using up leftovers and pantry staple meals are rising so, so fast. On the entertaining side, breakfast grazing boards are up 180%. That is the coolest thing. I have never thought about that. I am literally gonna go on Pinterest and look that up. And picnic content is climbing across the board. The mood? Cozy, creative, and shareable, not restrictive, not complicated. So how can you use this trend in your marketing? Well, even if you're not a food blogger, this trend tells you something important about what your audience wants right now. They want ease, creativity, and permission to enjoy things. So if you're in the wellness or nutrition space, this is your moment. Content around nourishing meals, not restrictive ones, simple recipes for busy people, using whole foods, and quote, what I actually eat in a day, unquote, will really resonate with the Pinterest audience and really across the board. Because when something is a trend on Pinterest, it almost always seeps into everywhere in our culture because the people that are on Pinterest are thinking about how they feel. And so they're they're leaning toward those types of things. Also, anti-diet framing is really, really important right now. If you're an event planner or maybe a photographer, create pin content around low stress entertaining. So intimate weddings or backyard weddings, garden party picnics, backyard movie nights, those are up a hundred and thirty percent, by the way, in searches. And brunch setups are trending. Think styled flatlays of grazing boards or outdoor gathering setups. For any service provider, the underlying message is your audience wants comfort and creativity without all the overwhelm. Apply that energy to how you talk about your services, like quote, simple systems that feel good, unquote. And if you've been reading or listening or watching any of my content, I have leaned way into this before I knew it was a trend because I had been hearing from my clients that they're they don't want these complex ways of doing things with 85 steps anymore. So something like that is always going to outperform grind harder or hustle harder. I don't even use the word hustle except when I'm framing it as being negative. So what are keywords to use on your pens? Easy spring recipes, comfort food ideas, simple entertaining, low stress gathering ideas, and backyard party setup. Trend number three: tiny sanctuaries and intentional connection. So what Pinterest is seeing right now are people are craving, quote, micro escapes, unquote, that fit into real life. Not a two-week vacation, a 10-minute garden break, a balcony makeover, a reading nook in a closet. Yes, that is up over 55%. And my husband might have some work ahead of him in the weekends. Searches for garden party inspiration are up a massive 940%. It happens often as we go toward summer, anyway, on Pinterest, but this is jumping out sooner than that. 940%. That is a massive amount of searches. Balcony makeover ideas climbed 165%, and the social calendar is shifting toward easy, intentional gatherings. Evening garden parties are up 210%, and simple garden parties are up 65%. On the self-care side, Sunday reset routines are trending huge, with quote, Sunday reset list, unquote, up 65%, and quote, Sunday reset aesthetic, unquote, up 55%. It's less about doing the most and more about feeling your best. How can you use these trends in your marketing? Well, this is the trend that should make every single service provider pay attention because the underlying desire here is your ideal client's desire. I want to enjoy my life without being complicated. That's the theme. That's what you want to consider when creating content or services or things around your business. If you're a photographer, outdoor mini sessions in gardens, patios, or cozy nook setups are gold right now. Pin content around, quote, spring brand photos in your backyard, unquote. Or quote, how to use your outdoor space for brand content, unquote. My friend Kiana, who has been on this podcast more than once, she's a brand photographer and a friend that I've known for years. And she's so good at creating behind the scenes content that you can actually use in and for your social media. And so you can bet that I'm going to be sending this directly to Hert because she could really lean into this hard. If you're a coach or a service provider, create blog posts or pens around quote reset routines, unquote, for your niche, and quote, Sunday marketing reset, unquote, checklist, and a quote, weekly business reset workflow or a quote, quarterly strategy refresh, unquote. You know, I'm gonna be picking one of those and running with it. So making these guides or workflow or checklists all tap into this trend perfectly and also helps you to create content because of these trends. So what keywords should you use on pens? Sunday reset routine, weekly business reset, spring refresh, simple self-care, intentional planning, and also micro escape ideas. Trend number four. Spring cleaning is the new self-care. What Pinterest is seeing. Spring cleaning used to mean an exhausting all-day marathon. Not anymore. People are searching for small, manageable resets that feel supportive instead of punishing. I am that person. I love every couple weekends. I typically pick a project, whether it's a closet or a pantry or whatever, my closet, whatever. And I sit and I spend a couple hours taking everything out, figuring out what I'm keeping, what I'm sharing, and what I'm giving away. And then it makes everything feel new again, right? If you do it several million times throughout the year, you're not having to do these huge things that take like all day. Nobody has all day anymore. So, quote, cleaning list by room step by step, unquote, is up. Those are search terms. Cleaning list by room step by step is up 175%. Quote, fridge organization aesthetic, unquote, climbed 375%. And let me just say I love a good fridge organizing by aesthetic. I love those social media videos where they show them cleaning up or organizing the fridge. I don't know why I'm obsessed with it. But my family doesn't let me keep a real good organized fridge. So I digress. Quote, small space laundry room organization, unquote, jumped 390%. And quote, natural cleaning, unquote, surges 545%. I literally, just this last weekend, a couple days ago, I literally looked up natural cleaning, like basically creating a cleaner for my shower from the stuff I have from home. Natural cleaning. And it is really great. So go check that out if that's something you're thinking of. Even cleaning motivation is getting a makeover. Quote, before and after cleaning, unquote, content is rising. And quote, reset day aesthetic, unquote, is up 170%. People are turning maintenance into momentum and they want it to feel good, not just look good. So, how can you use this in your marketing? This is the trend that translates most directly to how you sell your services. Because what people want from spring cleaning is the exact same thing that they want from their marketing: clarity, organization, and a fresh start that doesn't take over their entire week. So for any of you Pinterest managers or Pinterest VAs, because I've I hear from you, you want to create a quote, Pinterest spring cleaning, unquote, blog post or a lead magnet, maybe a spring cleaning checklist. Walk people through cleaning up their boards, refreshing their keywords, updating their profile for the new season. And this is exactly what people are searching for. And you know I'll be doing that. For your services, reframe your offers as a quote refresh or reset rather than an overhaul. A website audit can become a website spring refresh. A coaching session can become a marketing reset day. The language really matters right now for your content before and after style content performs so well on Pinterest. If you're a makeup artist and you have any before and afters, those are gonna make amazing pins and get you found on Pinterest. You want to show a website before and then a website, if you're a website designer, after. Consider your business and show a before and after. That would be amazing. Showing a content workflow, and then after simplifying it, these are the kinds of content that people really save and click through to your website. Keywords to use on your pins, spring marketing refresh, Pinterest Spring Cleaning, or website spring cleaning, marketing reset checklist, organize your content, fresh start marketing plan before and after marketing. Those types of keywords are gonna do really well. So what's the big picture? Like why this report matters for service providers. Here's what I want you to take away from all of this. Pinterest trend data isn't just about kitchens and garden parties, although it is also. It's a window into what your ideal clients are thinking, what they're feeling, and what they're wanting right now. All emotional feelings. And the message is really loud and clear. People want things that are simple, personal, and manageable. They want to feel good, they are over feeling overwhelmed. They want small wins, not massive overhauls. That's not just a trend. That's the exact energy that your marketing for your business should have. When you create pins, blogs, content, social media, whatever that matches what people are already searching for, then you're not shouting into the void, you're showing up exactly where they are looking. And that's the difference between search marketing and social media. However, you're gonna see a lot of this, what I've talked about in social media too, because it all goes there eventually. And it's also why Pinterest in particular works so so well. Do you want help putting this into action? If you're looking at this list or what I've just said, I should say, okay, this is great, but I don't have time to figure out all the keywords or creating the pins. Like I get it. That's exactly what we do. So we have options. DIY would be my club, which has monthly Pinterest training, two times a month, QA sessions, so you can get your Pinterest questions answered. And we also, it's a co-working, so it works as accountability as well. But if you're like, oh, I am over all this, Jen, you have that knowledge. Apply all of that to my account, then we also have Pinterest management as well. I'll put all the links in the show notes so you don't have to worry about it. Also, my big gift to you is that I have put together a very simple free freebie that you can download in the visibility vault, your five step action plan for using spring trends on Pinterest. And you can go get that at learn.genvasquez.com slash resources. And of course, as I mentioned before, it will all be in there. Have a great day, you guys, and I'll see you in a little bit.
