The Unbusy Mom - take your time back strategies for business moms

Client case study: I tell all my clients THIS when they’re already out of energy but they’ve got a huge to-do list!

Alyssa Wolff - Time Management Coach for Work at Home Moms

Your to-do list is stacking up, your own energy is dropping, and you just can’t muster up the brain power to knock out anything else – but all those tasks are super important and really have to get done this week (or month).

Sound familiar?

If this is you, I just had a client in this exact situation, so I’ll let you listen in on what I told her.

(It’s the REALISTIC way to get it all done!)

You’ve got this!

This is a Client Case Study, and today we’re talking about what I tell all my clients when they’re already out of energy but they’ve got a huge to-do list!

Your to-do list is stacking up, your own energy is dropping, and you just can’t muster up the brain power to knock out anything else – but all those tasks are super important and really have to get done this week (or month).

Sound familiar?

I just had a client in this exact situation, so I’ll let you listen in on what I told her.

(It’s the REALISTIC way to get it all done!)

If you have way too many to-do's stacking up that need to be taken care of, that you aren’t really wanting to do, but you’re unable to release, stick to 1-2 things a day during your work day, and only do those 2 things.

As soon as you cross them off, you’re off the hook. You can go relax, use your extra time whichever way you want, anything – all you have to do each day is 2 tiny things.

You even get to pick which 2 it is – don’t bother tiering your to-do list by priority or urgency level here.

Just make it as easy as possible on yourself to choose and do.

You’re not shooting for being “perfect,” or choosing the exact right thing that’s the exact top of the to-do list - you’re just taking action.

And action is the only thing that’s going to shorten your to-do list. (It’s a sneaky way to get yourself in the habit!)

So just let yourself grab 2 things, cross ‘em off, and then be done for the day.

You WILL knock out that to-do list – and you won’t exhaust yourself doing it.

All you had to do was relax your expectations and say “some progress is enough.”

That’s it.

So steal this to-do list hack for yourself today, and use it to shorten your own task list. Because you don’t need to live in overwhelm land any longer.

All you need to do is lean on limits and scheduling to give you both the *break* and the *momentum* that you need.

And if this concept sounds intriguing to you, these kinds of blends are what I specialize in inside Mompreneur Made Easy - it’s my custom combination of productivity strategies with personalized-to-you mindset techniques and journaling exercises, alongside delegation strategies that can be accomplished right inside the home *without* laying out any more money - and it’s guaranteed to chop your biz-plus-personal to-do list by two-thirds as a work-from-home mom.

Because you need *way* more time, and way more white space, to start actually *liking* your needle-moving, business-running life - not a ton more “do this and this and this” strategies and formulaic orders from on high.

So if running your business (and your family!) this way sounds like a badly needed breath of fresh air, come join me inside of Mompreneur Made Easy and we’ll transform your daily schedule from the ground up.

With the sneaky side benefit of getting you the non-stressed mommy your family needs, as a result of this work/life balance transformation.
