Lifelong Catamount fan and follower of everything purple & gold. Member of the Big Cat Club/Catamount Club since 1985.  Resident of Marietta, GA since 1995.  Retired from a career in sales in 2023 with time to help satisfy the appetite of Catamount fans everywhere.  

Steve graduated Western Carolina in 1967. He took the role of Sports Information Director in 1970 and served in that role into 2010.  Additionally, he has held several other positions at WCU, including on air and management of the Catamount Sports Network until he retired.  Steve has attended EVERY home football game since 1970, and thousands of other Catamount athletic events across every sport. Steve has been inducted into the WCU Athletics Hall of Fame and has received service awards from the Southern Conference and NCAA.  Steve's stories and memories of great moments in Catamount history will amaze you!
