A proud Texan and graduate of Texas A&M and UT Southwestern, Rick went on to train at the University of Virginia and the H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center before returning to UVA, where he not only treats patients but also trains the next generation of oncologists. He’s earned teaching awards, led UVA’s fellowship program, and advanced cutting-edge research in immunotherapy, targeted therapies, and combination treatments.
