Good Evening Swansea
The father and son podcast that chats with those who help bring good times to the wonderful city of Swansea. Our episodes - available to download every two weeks - usually consist of about 30-45 minutes of light-hearted chat, discussing people’s stories, their talents and generally having some fun.
By way of background, Jack, at 21, has just completed his politics degree at Reading University and is next heading to Cardiff in September for a broadcasting masters. Ant is a criminal solicitor by day with a side hustle of freelance football commentating.

Good Evening Swansea
Episode 26 - Jon-Joe... All his own work!
Musician Jon-Joe (Flynn) has packed a lot into his first 24 years - including teenage years in musical theatre, three education gap years and three courses at Swansea University. Although musically inspired by the likes of David Bowie and Damon Albarn, recent years have seen the self-taught guitarist reject playing covers in order to instead write and perform his own music. Already he's played Swansea Arena, the Elysium, The Swigg and most of the live music venues around the city.
With a new EP out now, Jon-Joe (who also works as a chef at the Westbourne Inn) joined Jack and Ant to discuss where his lyrics come from, his musical ambitions, and why London gigs are not for him.
