 Welcome back to the Vulnerability is Cool podcast. I am your host, Jenna Jarvis, and we are back in action Baby. I have not recorded an episode in a month, and I've been in Bali for a month and a half,  I am literally obsessed.  I did a yoga teacher training,  then I have just stayed and I don't fully have a plan for how long I'm gonna stay, but I moved outta my place in Utah and I don't really have anywhere to go back to.

I don't know what the future holds, but.  Bali has been such a dream there's also been hard things, but I was thinking about this the other day. I was like, hard life things. There was stuff with my visa that was really hard or like navigating how to ride a scooter gave me like a lot of anxiety, but I was like, I would rather have all this pain over a heartbreak.

'cause that is the absolute worst pain. So anything else? I am chilling and I don't know if you can hear all the birds in the background, but I just love it. There's all the nature little sounds  I belong in a place like this, not in cold, snowy, Utah, and I am sure of that.  I'm so grateful to be here it's been like truly a dream.  I cannot believe that I'm just here living in Bali. I have wanted to live here for so long,  every single year I make a little manifestation Pinterest board of what I want my year to look like. And I think every single year for 10 years, I've put Bali on there.

 We even did like a manifestation workshop with my girls last year.  I put, I lived in Bali, like it had already happened  I just kept getting in my head,  in February, I'm gonna live in Bali in February, I'm gonna live  in live in Bali. All last year. I kept thinking that, but I had no plan.

I probably couldn't afford it. I was just like, I feel like I'm supposed to be there.  Then I came and it all just somehow worked out, which is so wild to me. And so. Cool and has shown me so much that I just really need to trust my own intuition and trust the universe and all the things because the universe has your back and somebody is watching out for you.

 Over the past couple of weeks, I've learned so much about myself. I listen to the Date Yourself instead podcast with Liss. She lives in Bali and she's talked about how there's just like a magic energy in Bali, and I fully felt that. And everything is just so my vibe.

I'm obsessed,  it really just pushes you to go inward a little bit because at least for me, like I came here alone and I'm just learning a lot about myself, especially when that special time of the month comes and the hormones are just crazy. I'm like, holy shit, who am I?  There's so many topics that I want to discuss and have just been on my mind as I've been doing all of the who knows what in Bali, but something that I'm so passionate about right now.

Especially is manifestation because I truly manifested being here and I've manifested so many other little things  I'm like, damn, I'm kind of a little expert manifester over here. And I didn't even realize it. The girls that I've been hanging out with  one of 'em, like, you, you just do this all the time.

 Things just happen that you say are gonna happen. And I'm like, oh, like I, I didn't even realize that. It's actually working. 'cause I've been preaching it in  my retreats and my courses and all the things for so long and now here we are and it's so exciting. So let's get into it.

 We're talking about manifestation, what it is, how it works, from what I've learned and how I apply it into my life.

 The more I've learned about manifestation, I have realized that for me, I think everybody has their own like twists and little things about everything. And there's certain rules and people say like for example, there was like a big thing of you can't have corn or like you can't have oat milk because it's bad for your body, or you can't manifest in this way, you can't do this, you can't, blah, blah, blah, blah.

There's always something, but,  I just wanna share what's worked for me personally because I'm sure so many people have their other little ways and I think it's amazing. To me, manifestation isn't about wishing or waiting anymore because I think for a long time it was  I wish this would happen, or I want to live in Bali.

I want to live in Bali. But now it's like, oh, I have this desire in my life and now I fully believe that any desire I have, I have it because it's meant to happen and it's not about. How am I gonna get there? How am I gonna get there? It's how can I align myself with the version that is already living that reality?

It's really about becoming like this energetic match to the life that you want to live to, the reality that you desire,

With manifestation, I really like to use the I Am statement. So I am living in Bali, or I have lived in Bali, or I am a very successful business owner, or whatever it is. Whatever I'm calling in, I. Have shifted from saying, I want, because when we say I want our brain and the universe and whatever it is, here's a lack.

There's a lack of something.

But when we say I am, it's like we already are. We are confident We're in it, and the universe delivers our mind, puts us into that reality, and our mind believes it because truly our thoughts have so much power over everything. Every single little thing

 Manifestation is all about becoming the version of you that already has it, because that version of you already exists. And if you decide that version of you is this current version of you, then it'll become this current version of you.

I talked a little bit about this on the New Year's episode, but there's a part of your brain 

 It's called the reticular activating system, and its job is to filter reality. Because we take in millions of bits of little information all day,

literally every second.

But our brains can only consciously process small bits of information.

So it filters what it thinks is important again and again and again based on what we think about the most.

So if we're always thinking, I'm not enough, I'm not good enough, I'm not cool enough, I'm not worthy, I'm not capable,

our brain will literally filter reality to prove So we end up missing opportunities and we end up blocking abundance in our lives because of the thoughts we have inside our minds. And I just, I feel like I can't even make it clear enough, how much your thoughts dictate your reality. Because if you're super positive, you see more positive. If you're super negative, you're gonna see more of the negative in life.

And it's so simple. 

And once we shift our thoughts, our brain shifts what it is showing us every day, every second, every moment.

and it starts finding like little matches to our new identity, to our new reality that we've created in our heads.

And that's our thoughts become things

because they change what we see, what we expect, and how we respond in our lives. Because we have this constant dialogue in our heads that's more optimistic, more positive, more focused on what we truly, truly want, and not the little mundane things.

It's like when you start thinking you want a red car, and then you start seeing red cars everywhere, boom, boom, boom, boom, boom.

Those cars were literally always there, but you just finally tuned into them and now you're able to see more and more and more of them.

 Our thoughts don't just influence our life.

They literally instruct our brain to build that life

and show. I wanna get into a little bit about, I, I manifest and I feel like I haven't been super I don't know, I just haven't talked about this because. One of the things that I'm manifesting in my life is my magic partner and I like to say magic because I feel like. The person that I end up with will see the magic in the world, and they will feel like magic to me.

 So I have little things.  But manifesting my own life, first shift, of course is instead of like, I want this, I want to become this.

I say I am this.  Even if it feels a little uncomfortable. Like when I was living in Utah, I'm literally telling myself I live in Bali, but obviously I'm sitting in my living room in Utah, freezing cold. Making that little shift from I want to, I am like every single day and even sometimes when I'm just feeling anxious.

I will go into my phone and  I have a list of all my I am statements and I'll just add some more, like I am calm and collected. I am trusting, I am loving, I am living my dream reality. Just reminding my brain. And something so important too, just like a little side note, is that your brain can overthink all day, but your body cannot overthink.

And so sometimes a little bit of EFT tapping, you can find a ton of meditations online. Or just moving your body, like getting into your body is so important because once again, your body cannot overthink only your brain. But sometimes maybe when I've moved and I just need a little shift, I will go right in my phone.

 The little I am statements. And then  from Abraham Hicks, there's a 17 second  manifestation and it's if you can focus for 17 seconds. 

So I have it. I wrote it down because I've heard a lot about it and I feel like I already naturally do this, but I didn't know there was like more of a name for it. I just saw it on Pinterest. But it says if you hold a pure thought for 17 seconds, it activates the vibration. If you hold it for 68 seconds, it starts attracting momentum.

So even one minute of pure aligned thought each day can shift your entire frequency. And I totally feel this something that I've tried to implement in my life, which is hard, but I try instead of first thing every day,  texting my friends or getting on Instagram or doing this and doing that and tapping into like their frequency and what they're doing.

I try to stay in my own energy and I try to do a little visualization, even if that's just laying in my bed with one hand on my heart, one hand on my belly. Just envisioning my future reality and what that I want. What I want that to be. Or sometimes when I'm feeling anxious, I'll just pull out my hands and count 10 things I'm grateful for on my fingers. I think it's so important to start your day in your own frequency. Don't just get on your phone and be in their energy. You've gotta stay in your own frequency if you're trying to create the life of your dreams, okay? Or stand right here. And then after you do that, after you. Spend some time with yourself, maybe sip some coffee or lemon water whatever it is by yourself and just intentionally take that time for you.

Then you can be in other people's energy or whatever you know, but just really like truly just take that time for you.  Please. It will shift so many things. Another thing with the IM method that's so important It is to remember that you don't attract what you want. You attract what you already are. So when you're saying, I am this, I am this, that's tricking your brain into thinking that you already are that version of you. And so you are attracting what you truly already are and what's already deep inside your chest and you know that you are to your core. Another thing that I do is I have created, I create a board every single year, but this year I created one of just 20, 25, and I save to it every single day. So in the same way that I go to my notes app and I write a little note every day to myself, just so like I am statements, I'm this, I'm this, I'm this.

Or. Sometimes even I write like I'm grateful for. I'll do that with my Pinterest board. So instead of scrolling Instagram, tapping into everybody else's energy and frequency, I go on my Pinterest board and I just save to my 2025 manifestation board. And I'll also share a link to that. I save different quotes of how I want to feel inside.

I save photos of where I wanna live, and sometimes I save different outfits that I wanna wear or like the vibe that I want to give or. I save like cute romantic little pictures of couples that like, like I just want it. I want that vibe, and I love doing that because instead of scrolling Instagram and just truly, like I said, a hundred million times, tapping into everybody else's energy and what they're looking for and what they're doing, you're just tapping into your own. It's one of my favorite practices and it's truly made the biggest difference for me. And now it's so fun because I can go back and look and especially like when I'm gonna the bathroom or something and I'm on my phone. TMI, sorry. I will instead of scrolling social media, I'll do that.

So every time I go to scroll social media, I am just looking through my own little vision board and it's so cute and I get an ad to it every day. And then I have for manifesting my magic partner. I have a Spotify playlist called Magic Partner, and I also have a collection on my phone of different reels I've saved of like cute couples that I'm like, oh. I love it. Or like funny videos of couples and I manifest in that way too. So I save it to that board, save it to that board.

Or  I have my own other board on my phone of  my dream reality and it's just  everything, like from kids to the house. My own little manifestation board on my Instagram. So it's like taking advantage of all of these like tons and tons of tools that we have on social media where it could be such a negative thing.

We turn it to a positive of no, I'm manifesting my dream reality, which is.  My playlist on Spotify with my magic partner is  all the songs of how I want my partner to make me feel and how I want to feel in that relationship in general. And I love it because sometimes when I'm just  a little bit down about whatever, I go and listen to it and I'm just like, oh, this is  what I'm calling in.

And that is so exciting. And I feel the same way about my Pinterest board.

 Those are like my main little things that I do. And sometimes I still do, write in my notes page or sometimes when I need to  dump in my journal. I just think it's so important, especially  with a future partner or  your business or whatever, to have it detailed and I think the universe will provide it in a way that you couldn't even imagine, but.

I think it's important to know exactly what  you are looking for and what you're trying to create in your life or what you are creating because yeah, I just feel this pull all the time to no, you need to write down exactly what you not want. Not just call in I just want this good life.

No, like, I wanna be living in Bali. I wanna be doing this. I want to be selling these incredible courses. I wanna be changing women's lives. Like get specific. Okay.

I could literally talk about this all day because it's just been so fun to see so many things play out in my life. Even coming to Bali, I didn't even know how I would afford it, but it all worked out. And right now I've had the money to not work for the past month and just really decide what I want to do with my business, which is so exciting and so fun.

I never really thought that I'd be able to do something like that. And it just feels so. Feels so special and it really shows here I go getting emotional, but that there is there is to me, there is a greater force, there's a greater power, a greater energy that is in control of everything that really does care about you, whether that's God or source or universe or whatever you believe.

I don't fully know what I believe, but I really do believe that there's something there's so much magic in the world. It's impossible for my brain to think that there's nothing 

I've been really into  Kundalini activation and Kundalini yoga. And it's really just tapping into your creative energy and your pure divine feminine energy. I love it. I went to a session here and it was really good and it just reminded me like how capable I am and that everything I want, I am worthy of.

It was so beautiful. And sometimes I think people think like different energy healers and different things are like so woo woo,  and I truly believe that these people hold a space for you to remember who you are because the answers truly are inside of you. But sometimes you need someone else to help you get there, to help you find those answers within yourself.

Because when you're just scrolling through Instagram all day, or sitting at your desk job and just not really tapping into your own frequency, like. Yeah, bitch. You need someone to help you.  I'm really grateful for those things, and the more I go to them, the more I'm able to rely on myself, 

 One of the things that I learned in this session is I told her that I feel like whoever I'm around, I become them.  When I leave hanging out with someone especially that's super negative, I feel very negative. And she was like, that's because you're going down to their frequency. That's because you've been a people pleaser probably your whole life and you're so used to.

Dumbing yourself down to make someone feel comfortable. And she's like, you can't do that anymore. You need to stay in your own frequency. And I was like, holy shit. Like that is spot on. And so I've been trying to do that and it's totally helped. And it's hard, it's so hard because it's been so natural for me.

In the past to be such a people pleaser, but it's made me so unhappy and that's something that I'm really focusing on, and I think that has a lot to do with also like manifesting your dream reality, because you need to stay in your own energy. You need to remember what you want, not whatever else everyone around you wants.

You gotta stay in your own rhythm.

So how can you start manifesting today? Okay, ready? I want you to make a magic you playlist,  I had the woman in my group make a core you playlist. So mine's called Jenna Core, and it's like who I truly am the magic of Jenna Jarvis in a playlist. So I want you to make that, whatever that means to you, I want you to make it your most vibrant, authentic, fun, silly, playful, you make it.

Okay. Next, if you don't have this already, I want you to make a 2025 vision board, I want you to just add in everything in mine, like I have babies in there. I don't, I do not wanna have a baby in 2025. I don't even think that's possible now, but I. I just have things that I want in my future and maybe 2025 is gonna gimme the steps to take to have a baby eventually.

 Just whatever you're trying to manifest, whatever you're calling in, I want you to add that to your board and I want you to be adding it every single day. Little quotes, whatever. Like I said, I'll pin, I'll I'll share the link at the bottom of this video or episode so you can see mine. And then another thing I want you to do is create a note page in your phone that says, I am, and every time you're feeling anxious and maybe you don't wanna get on Pinterest or whatever it is, I want you to write, I am blank.

I am blank. Whatever you're calling into your life, only the positive, the future dream reality you.

Next thing I know there's a lot, so you don't have to do all of these, okay? But just start whatever with whatever resonates for you is I want you to start every single day in your own frequency, in your own energy. Don't just be tapping into everybody else's, okay? We don't get time for that. We truly don't.

And if you are like, why is my life this? What is this? Why am I not happy? Probably because you're not going inward enough. You're not spending enough time. With yourself in a healthy way. Okay? We need to be spending healthy time with ourselves and not just inauthentic I don't know, just tap into your own frequency for me, all right?

At least for the first couple of minutes of your day, whether you're just putting your hands in your heart and taking some deep breaths with yourself or whatever it is.

Okay, my camera died, but I'm just gonna add like a picture at the end of this.  And then, yeah, don't get on your phone first thing in the morning. Stay in your own energy and then some, a little journal prompt. You can do so many. Just literally ask chat g bt give me journal prompts to tap into my highest self, my highest reality, embodiment practice.

I want you to walk and talk like the person that you're trying to become. Just tap into that energy, that energy is inside you. Something that I realized when I was doing my little Kundalini session as well is that I was like, oh, I feel like I'm not fully in the energy. And then this thought came to my mind like, bitch, you are the energy.

Like just tap right back into it. And I was like, okay. And I did because I am the energy  and I really, I would love to see your boards. I would love for you to send me your vision boards and your playlist that you make, like truly please do, because I would love to see it and I just really believe in you.

And if you can't believe in yourself, needed someone else to right now, I mother fricking believe in you. And I know that the dream reality that you have in your head is achievable, and all you need to do is change your thoughts. That will then lead you to change your actions in your life, and then will lead you to your dream life.

So I want you to say this out loud with me. Okay. You ready? I want you to say, I do not chase. I align.  I do not beg. I embody.  I do not wait.
