Dear Listeners,
I am a lifelong resident of Western North Carolina, Asheville, to be more precise. On September 27, 2024, my community and the surrounding areas, including Eastern Tennessee, was decimated by Hurricane Helene. Horrific winds, mud slides, debris slides, and unbelievable flooding, took out lives, homes, businesses and more. Rivers rerouted themselves and Mother Nature showed her anger. This podcast is dedicated to the people of Western North Carolina and the amount of first responders, individuals, animal teams who came to our rescue, recover and love on the people the of Western North Carolina.
