Managing outside influences when you want to be healthy
In this conversation, Norma and Pat discuss the challenges of dealing with outside influences when starting a new fitness program. They share personal experiences and insights on how to handle unsupportive family members or significant others who may undermine or question the fitness goals and methods. They emphasize the importance of trust in the client-trainer relationship and suggest strategies such as inviting the outside influencer to join the workout or providing educational materials to explain the program. They also touch on the difficulties faced by individuals who don't have control over the food that comes into their homes and offer suggestions for portion control and making healthier choices.
