Meet our hosts: two witty Michigan transplants now enjoying life in sunny Southwest Florida. One is a left-leaning Yogi, and the other a right-leaning BeachMan. Despite their differing views, they find common ground on peace, self-improvement, helping others, healthy eating, light-heartedness, music, and a shared love for animals.

Our backgrounds are as diverse as our interests, ranging from naval nuclear training and submarine adventures to in-depth explorations of yoga, sales, solar power systems, and labor and delivery nursing.

Rick Beach (The BeachMan)

Originally hailing from Southeast Michigan, Rick's journey to the sunny shores of Port Charlotte, Florida reflects his adventurous spirit and commitment to personal growth and community involvement. As a solar professional he has a deep-rooted passion for renewable energy. A previous naval nuclear submariner, his creative and innovative approach has helped him thrive in this ever-evolving field since he moved to Florida in 1998. An active member of his local community, he plays bass guitar in a popular local band showcasing his love for music. In the podcast he shares insights and stories with a unique blend of wisdom and humor, intelligence and wit. His magnetic personality and good looks is also a blessing to the community, and anyone he comes in contact with. Rick's three daughters also reside in Southwest Florida. He balances his work and creative pursuits with an active lifestyle. He enjoys playing pickleball, often destroying slower and older opponents.
