In this deeply moving episode, I had the greatest honor of speaking with Wendy Kowalski, the CEO and founder of Caring Cradle. After witnessing the heartbreaking grief of a close friend who lost her baby, Wendy was inspired to create a compassionate solution for families facing unimaginable loss.

The Caring Cradle is a specially designed cooling device that allows families who experience stillbirth, neonatal loss, or infant death in the NICU to spend more precious time with their baby. Resembling a hospital bassinet, this thoughtful innovation helps preserve the baby’s body, giving parents the opportunity to hold, love, and say goodbye in a more gentle, dignified, and meaningful way.

Wendy’s story is one of empathy turned into action—an inspiring example of how love and loss can shape powerful change.
