Listen today as Isabelle Fisher shares how from the very beginning , complications threatened the stability of the pregnancy—starting with heavy bleeding in the first trimester and progressing to a diagnosis of IUGR(Intrauterine Growth Restriction) caused by a calcified placenta and poor umbilical blood flow. By 32 weeks, everything changed. Faced with strict bed rest, the loss of her normal routine, and the reality that her baby girl was measuring weeks behind, this mother entered a season filled with constant monitoring, uncertainty, and unwavering hope.

What happens next is both surprising and inspiring. After weeks of little improvement, her doctor made an unconventional recommendation: to return to light strength training—specifically upper body movement—to reintroduce circulation and activity her body had been accustomed to. In the weeks that followed, subtle but significant changes began to occur. Blood flow improved, nutrients reached her baby more effectively, and remarkably, her daughter turned from breech to head down. Though the journey ultimately led to an emergency C-section at 36 weeks, her baby girl arrived stronger than expected—a testimony to resilience, faith, and the body’s incredible response. In this episode, we explore the emotional highs and lows of this journey and reflect on the moment her OB affirmed what she now believes: that movement may have played a key role in giving her daughter the strength she needed in those final weeks.
