Elyse is an outdoors enthusiast who grew up in rural Arkansas. She spent many days trekking through the Ozark National Forest, the Ouachita National Forest, and the many state parks of Arkansas. She grew up traveling to national parks as a kid and spent many nights during the summer camping with her family. 

While in college, Elyse worked at Philmont Scout Ranch in northern New Mexico and discovered a deeper love and appreciation for the outdoors and stories it holds. Upon receiving her Master's Degree, Elyse worked in travel healthcare for a few years before settling in Utah. She has visited countless national parks & monuments, wilderness areas, and forests.  

Elyse has always been interested in the macabre and the outdoors. In this podcast, she combines these two interests into one.
