23. The Stairway to Heaven (Haʻikū Stairs, Oʻahu, Hawaii)
When a highschool student goes to hike an infamous stairway on the island of Oʻahu, he is never seen again. He posted on his Facebook that he was headed to hike the haiku stairs but he never returned. There are many theories as to what happened and even images that he took circulating the internet. In one of the images, it looks like someone was following him on the trail. Was it a hiking accident or was it something more sinister? It's been almost 10 years and his case is still unsolved.
