Ep. 10 | Andrew Misiaszek - Rehab, Respecting Your Craft, & Playing College/Pro Baseball
In this episode of STAY FEARLESS, we dive into rehab, respecting your craft, & playing college/pro baseball with Andrew Misiaszek. Miz is originally from Long Island, New York and played baseball at Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts, where he served as the closer. Miz was then drafted by the Cleveland Guardians in the 32nd round of the 2019 Amateur Draft. Since then, Miz has worked his way up to the AAA level where he pitched to a 3.64 ERA striking out over 32% of the batters he faced in 2022, adding a good bit of velocity along the way. He spent the 2023 season rehabbing from Tommy John surgery and is currently closing out his rehab and getting back to full competition. He’s a relentless worker, a constant learner, and a true professional. In this episode Miz talks about his rehab journey, and the lessons he has learned along the way. He talks about what it truly means to be a professional and respect your craft, while also having fun along the way. He also gives his thoughts on how high school athletes should prepare themselves for the next level as well as the differences between high school, college, and pro ball.
