Dear Listeners,

We continue to observe National Nutrition Month and how food connects us. Food connects us to health, tradition, culture, and relationships. The Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics emphasize that "health, memories, traditions, seasons and access can all impact our relationship with food". Access to food can also have a large impact on our health and our relationship with food overall. Ultimately, food security or insecurity can play a major role in how food connects us.

This episode of Bermuda Health-Abets, a podcast where we discuss everything from A to Z on healthy living, is dubbed Food Connects Us: Gardening as a Way Forward to Address Food Insecurity. #empoweringinformingandmotivating Bermuda residents to live well.

Our guest this episode is Chaplain Dr. Kevin J.T. Santucci, Instructor of the Grow. Eat. $ave gardening program. During this episode Chaplain talks about his experience with gardening, how gardening can help address food security, and different aspects of gardening that connects us.
