This week let's take a moment to Celebrate Registered Dietitians Nutritionists (RDNs). Every year on the second Wednesday in March we celebrate the important roles that Registered Dietitians Nutritionists play in our community with education on healthful food choices, prevention, as well as management of chronic disease, advocacy for food security, and much more. Bermuda, this week as you tune into this episode remember to celebrate the contributions of dietitians nutritionists towards a healthier Bermuda.

During the month of March we will feature a series of episodes focused on how food connects us. This episode of Bermuda Health-Abets, a podcast where we discuss everything from A to Z on healthy living, is dubbed Food Connects Us: Know Your Experts. #empoweringinformingandmotivating Bermuda residents to live well.

Our guest this episode is Sinead Salandy, Clinical Dietitian from Bermuda Hospital Board. During this episode Sinead talks about the different setting in which Registered Dietitians work, the pathway of becoming a dietitian, working with a collaborative team as a clinical dietitian, the difference between a registered dietitian and a nutritionist, and the supports and resources available in the community, how important it is to know your experts when it come to dietetics.
