Have you every considered how important your mental health is to your overall health? When is it important to address mental health? The World Health Organization defines health as a complete mental, physical and social wellbeing and not just the absence of disease. Mental health is not merely the absence of mental illness and is based on how we experience and respond to life stressors based on a number of factors. The World Health Organization Emphasizes that mental health is an integral part of health and wellbeing. Ultimately, your overall health and wellbeing is contingent on how you take care of your physical, mental, social & emotional wellbeing.
