Dear Listeners,

The holiday season is here. For many this is a time of jolliness, joyful occasions, and spending time with family but for some this may be a time of sorrowful memories, grief, sadness and loss. As we prepare for this holiday season lets remember to be empathetic, companionate, caring and supportive to those around us who are experiencing loss and grief.

This episode of Bermuda Health-Abets, a podcast where we discuss everything from A to Z on healthy living, is focused on Compassionate Conversations: Providing Grief Support.
#empoweringinformingandmotivating Bermuda residents to live well.

Our guest this episode is Jeelise Allen, Thanatologist from Mayvera Wellness. This episode Jeelise talks about the different ways in which people experience grief and loss, what we can do to help with the grief process, important conversations that we should have with our loved ones about death, resources and supports in the community and how we can support our loved who are grieving. As you tune into this episode consider if you have had the conversation with your family and what you may want.
