Ssozi Joseph is a Ugandan filmmaker, production sound mixer, and conservation storyteller working at the intersection of film, sound, culture, and nature. He specializes in location sound recording for documentaries, narrative films, podcasts, and conservation projects, with a strong focus on capturing authentic African environments and stories. As Director of Gorilla Creatives Inc and a lead creative behind Gorilla Tapes, his work explores wildlife, heritage, indigenous knowledge, and contemporary African storytelling through sound and visual media. His projects include nature sound archiving, bird conservation storytelling, documentaries, and collaborative creative productions across Africa.
