Ah, ya.
SPEAKER_00Uganda wakes up in sound. Before the traffic, before the conversations, before the country fully opens its eyes, the birds are already singing. From the wetlands to the forests, to the trees outside our homes, birds have always been part of our lives. Sometimes loud, sometimes hidden, sometimes so common, we forget to truly listen. But every call carries a story. A journey into the sounds, stories, and lives of Uganda's incredible bird life. I'm Sos Joseph, a sound recordist, storyteller, and nature lover from Uganda. Over the years, I've spent hours recording nature sounds, rainstorms, forests, rivers, and birds across the country. And through those recordings, I discovered something powerful. Sound can connect us to nature in a deeply personal way. And this podcast was born from that experience. Now, whether you are badder, a traveler, a conservationist, or simply curious about the natural world, this podcast invites you to slow down and reconnect with nature through sound. This is Buds of Uganda.
