Hey, hey, sis. This is the third installment in the Kingdom Bride series. And today it's going to get a little bit spicy in here. We are talking about the Shulamite woman in the Song of Solomon. She wasn't a queen or a noblewoman. She was just a Shulamite girl, ordinary in status, but extraordinary in her devotion. And yet her love story with

King Solomon became one of the most passionate poems in all of time. Let him kiss me with the kisses of his mouth for your love is more delightful than wine. Song of Solomon says. This is not a story of restraint without romance. This is a story of holy desire. A king drunk on love.

a woman unashamed of her longing. And God put it in the Bible because desire inside covenant is not shameful. It's celebrated by God himself. In the Song of Solomon, we watch their romance unfold like a symphony. She calls him her beloved. She speaks openly of her longing for him.

I am my beloved and my beloved is mine. They praise each other's beauty. They delight in each other's presence. They long for each other emotionally, physically, spiritually. The tension is palpable. The passion is undeniable. And yet it's contained within covenant promise. She longs for him. He longs for her.

And together they model this breathtaking balance, desire with patience, passion with purity. Now let's talk about this. Because for so many Christians, this is the fear. What if I marry someone and the chemistry isn't there? What if I save myself, but the sex isn't good?

What if I never feel the spark I've been praying for? That fear is real. And it's why the world says test drive the model, sleep together first. But the Shulamite woman shows us another way. You don't have to compromise to feel desire.

You don't have to sin to feel wanted. You don't have to cross God's boundaries to create chemistry. You can live in the tension. You can create that whole electricity. You can evoke desire without awakening love before its time. is where my teachings come in. I call it flirt.
