Ep. 86: Kingdom Bride Series — Sarah: The Kingdom Marriage You’ve Longed For

Send us a text

It’s one thing to attract a man. It’s another to captivate him. But God’s design is bigger than attraction — His vision is Kingdom Marriage.

In this final episode of the Kingdom Bride Series, we turn to Sarah, covenant partner of Abraham and example of unfading beauty. Her story points us to the marriage you’ve been longing for: one built on honor, tenderness, respect, and sacrificial love.

If Ruth showed you the power of mentorship, Esther revealed specialized knowledge, and the Shulammite modeled holy desire, Sarah now shows you the promise — the Kingdom Marriage you were made for.

It's one thing to attract a man. It's another thing to captivate him. But it's something even greater to create a marriage that reflects the kingdom of God. Sarah wasn't just Abraham's wife. She was his covenant partner. And the New Testament lifts her up as an example, not of

merely outer beauty, but of inner glory.

1 Peter 3 says, your beauty should not come from outward adornment. Rather, it should be that of your inner self, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is of great worth in God's sight.

For this is the way the holy women of the past used to adorn themselves. They submitted themselves to their own husbands like Sarah, who obeyed Abraham and called him her Lord. What do we see here? We see kingdom marriage, a union marked not by control, but by gentleness, not by fear, but by honor, not by dominance,

but by love and sensitivity. And that's what I want to leave you with today. The vision of kingdom marriage.

Hey, hey sis, welcome back to the Kingdom Bride series. Over the past few episodes, we've studied women whose faith, strategy and desire changed everything. Ruth, who showed us the power of a wise mentor. Esther, who revealed the importance of specialized knowledge. The Shulamite woman.

who modeled flirt pure, holy desire that compels pursuits. And today we close the series with Sarah, because this is about more than just finding a husband. This is about what happens next. This is about kingdom marriage. Inside my coaching program, I dedicate an entire VIP day to this exact topic. I call it

the Kingdom Marriage VIP Day.

It's where I help my clients step into the next season with clarity and confidence so that they don't just get married. They build a marriage that blesses them, protects them, and multiplies the goodness in their life. Today, I want to give you a taste of that. Now, if you flip back to Genesis, Sarah's story is long and complicated. are moments of faith.

moments of doubt, even moments of fear. But what Peter highlights in the New Testament isn't her mistakes. It's her beauty. And it wasn't the beauty of cosmetics or hairstyles or jewelry. It was the beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit.

Now pause with me here because so many women stumble over that phrase. They think it means silent, passive, weak. But gentle and quiet doesn't mean voiceless. It means you are steady, secure, at peace.

It's the beauty of a woman who knows who she is in God and therefore doesn't have to control or manipulate to get love. That's kingdom marriage. Because when Sarah walked in that posture, something happened in Abraham too. First Peter three continues and says, husbands in the same way, be considerate as you live with your wives and treat them with respect.

as the weaker vessel and as heirs with you of the gracious gift of life so that nothing will hinder your prayers. Do you see that picture?

A wife adorns herself with unfading beauty and it calls her husband higher. He is compelled to obey God and treat her with gentleness, with honor, with tenderness, with consideration, to live with her kindly and respect her.

And what we see in scripture is that this act is tied to how God hears his prayers. There's a consequence to a husband that does not obey this command from God. And that love and that respect is mutual. It's covenant. And this is how God defines a kingdom marriage. A kingdom marriage is not just about two Christians sharing a house.

It's not a man who pays the bills while a woman keeps the home. It's not two people tolerating each other while they raise kids. A kingdom marriage is a reflection of Christ and the church. Ephesians five says husbands love your wives just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her. When we look

for a husband when we are on the dating apps, when we go to the speed dating events, are we looking for a man that would love us just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her? Are we looking for a man that we would be willing to submit to as we would the Lord? This is not about hierarchy.

It's about harmony. It's about discernment. It's about a husband who loves sacrificially covering and cherishing his wife more than his own body. It's about a wife who honors, respects, and brings peace to her husband in a way that unlocks his leadership and his tenderness. This is Kingdom Marriage.

and that is possible for you. I know right now you may be focused on dating, on meeting him, on attracting him, but the truth is God's vision for you is bigger than a wedding day. He's preparing you for a kingdom marriage. And here's why that's so important. Because you don't want to just get married. You want to stay married.

You want a relationship that blesses you, your husband, your children, your church, every life you touch. You want a marriage that becomes your legacy. And that requires more than chemistry, more than learning, more than strategy, more than a high income, more than a steady job, more than a nice body. It requires kingdom vision and holy discernment.

That's why inside my coaching program, I set aside an entire VIP day just to talk about this. We go deep into questions like how do you love your husband in a way that inspires his leadership and tenderness? How do you create a marriage culture where prayer and intimacy thrive? How do you resolve

Conflict in a way that strengthens the bond instead of weakening it How do you prepare now to be a wife who inspires your husband to treat you as a co-heir of grace and how do you recognize and find and discern that the man that is standing in front of you will be the type of man that Will obey the Lord's Commandment to love and respect his wife

as he loves himself.

I call this the Kingdom Marriage VIP Day because here's the truth, your dating journey doesn't end with a proposal. That's just the beginning. Kingdom marriage is what you're really after. And in my coaching program, it's not just about dating tips. It's not just about getting the guy. It's not just about flirting. It's not just about looking pretty. It's about building a marriage that glorifies the Lord.

until the day you both die. It's about building a marriage that glorifies the Lord and blesses your heart forever. So let me ask you, when you imagine marriage, what do you see? Do you see just survival making it through life together? Maybe that's what has been modeled for you. Maybe that's all you know. Can you see kingdom?

Do you see a marriage so tender, so strong, so radiant with love that people around you are blessed just by being in your home? That's kingdom marriage, and that's what I want for you.
