Episode 25-George Morris- Take 2- George at Home
George Morris at home - Part 1 (Part 2 Drops Friday July 18th)
George Morris ended up riding by chance but it was not by chance that he became so successful in the sport and sought out by so many for his wisdom and expertise.
For decades he devoted his time and energy to bringing out the best not only in aspiring US riders but riders from all over the world. He is considered by many to be the best riding trainer ever.
His lifelong passion came to a screeching halt when he was banned from USEF in 2019.
I sit down with George Morris in his home and he shares his story of his experience with Safe Sport . He touches on a book that was published in April by Judy Berkley called “Off Course:Detours, DEI and Duplicity at U.S Equestrian Federation.”
He also talks about his years in show jumping touching on some of his favourite horses, riders and experiences.
